  1. OK, so on the drive home I wondered what I would do between periods of hockey on B10 Network tonight, then it hit me...since I can't get Uncle Tom's Cabin out of my head (thanks, Blackheart), I thought it was time for a trip down memory lane...ladies and gentlemen...I give you...the top 11 hair band songs of 1982-1992 as decided upon by me (and there will be a few surprises): Coming in at number 11...an a$$-kickin' classic that says it all about 1980's hair rock...screechin' guitars...drums...girls in the crowd...yea...Autograph's Turn up the Radio!
  2. Michigan up 2-0 on Wisconsin...back-to-back goals in the first period, including a nice breakaway goal.
  3. That Martin St Louis guy turned out to be quite a find for Tampa Bay too...he wasn't exactly a number 1 draft pick.
  4. I'll admit...this commercial bit does make me like Peyton Manning... I like Western Michigan over UMD tonight and Nebraska-Omaha to beat St Cloud State.
  5. Wow. How many of those are still around today? District 29, Region 8: New England Tigers New England St Mary's Saints (defunct) Golva Tigers (defunct - school torn down I believe and kids bus to Beach) Beach Buccaneers South Heart Eagles (combined with Belfield - now the Heart River Cougars) Belfield Bantams (combined with South Heart - now the Heart River Cougars) No to Fighting Pit Bulls.
  6. Hayduke, I don't know why, but ever time I see Peyton Manning, I can't help but think of this movie scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2ryuHF4yl8 Opie Taylor? I ain't your Opie Taylor! 'Cuz Peyton Manning looks like an Opie Taylor.
  7. That would be a nice twist on the outdoor games, right?

I am pretty certain that's how those were sold. I talked with someone who bought one a few years ago. She said a friend of hers went shopping with her on the Sunday after at noon, walked into HOE and saw them there. I never get lucky like that.
  9. I shall accept your challenge to a duel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKQpmBOPwPI
  10. Admit it though...you'll laugh if I text you a picture of that on the sign.
  11. For a guy who claims so many OTHER Sioux fans are obsessed with the Minnesota Gophers, you manage to find a way to reference them in about 1/2 of your posts. Me thinks you doth protest too much. I think somewhere in your closet is a Gopher throwback jersey...#87 Crosby.
  12. Pairwise be damned, I'll be cheering for the Seahawks this weekend.

  14. 2014 Hoggsbreath sign outside the building idea: WELCOME FIGHTING SIOUX FANS OXBOW6 SUCKS
  15. OK, OK, I take it back. But now that you mention it...I am missing a button on my favorite shirt...do you think you can sew one on for me?
  16. What if the injury is to their leg or shoulder? I agree with the concept of the rule and have previously suggested if you need help to get off the ice, you shouldn't be promptly be allowed back out there on the ensuing PP. Cough, cough, Kyle, cough, Rau, cough cough.
  17. That's funny.
  18. LEGEND.
  19. That sounds about right...was that the year he didn't play in the Final Five?
  20. Dope is for dopes!
  21. Standing...room...only!
  22. Not when wearing that sweater that somebody's grandma sewed!

We're talking white throwback with Blackhawk-style Indian head on the front and green number on left-chest area, right? I have seen a few of them around over the years...I want one too.
  24. His last-second goal against in Canada in 2010 is the stuff legends are made of. Had the US gone on to win that game, I'd agree with you on the 'legend' status. Hopefully US wins gold this time and he can cement that status. As for being a critic of you today...well...maybe I just need a sparring partner with gfhockey on suspen, er, vacation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz9tH0z7U3k
  25. What's your criteria? Parise: 230 goals, 252 assists Thomas Vanek: 269 goals, 266 assists Eric Staal: 282 goals, 389 assists (2006 Stanley Cup champion...2007 World Champion...2010 Olympic champion)
