I have yet to hear from any of you regarding payment for your hats and would like to wrap this up quickly so I can pay back Mr Visa. Thank you.
OK, five things I predict for 2014:
Alex Rodriguez not playing a single baseball game.
Either the Patriots or Broncos making the Super Bowl.
Al Pearson putting together a Sioux hockey bus trip.
Grand Forks seeing below zero temps.
gfhockey getting bombed and posting about it on SiouxSports.com.
Mark this thread for next December and we'll see if my "predictions" make me look as smart as you.
I personally like my chances.
Oh, so it had nothing to do with benefitting local Gopher fans who could work all day Thursday and Friday and then hit the X for a 7:00 pm game...and everything to do with allowing them time to get home and watch the game on TV from the comforts of their couch?

Check out the photos here...especially the slush under the slap shot on #9.
And, yes, lightning apparently was an issue as well as the rain.
Enough with the outdoor games already!
I keep hoping against hope that when a new post comes up with your name attached to it, that it might be a decent legible comment.
Alas, I'm always disappointed...
I called the Seahawks beating the Saints and the Sioux men sweeping CC in hockey. I'm thinking about opening my own sports-prediction business since I'm apparently psychic.
Oh, so you talk a big ballgame but now you're 'not a coach.' Coulda fooled me since you're so smart.
Why don't you give Hakstol or Idalski a call? Maybe you can be some sort of consultant for the team. Of course, that means you'll have to give up your well-established career and lifestyle out there in the oil patch...
Great, as if I didn't have enough trouble trying to keep Mitch and Mark straight, now I have to remember that there are two kids named Colten on the team too?
The TIME is now for NCHC teams to start winning every single non-conference game they play the rest of the season. It certainly looks like most NCHC teams will be WATCHing the tournament, not playing in it.
