The Green Bay regional could have had UND as the #1 seed against Cornell in place of Michigan along with Ferris State/Denver in the other match-up. I would have liked UND's chances with that bracket.

Dare I say that had UND not played that regional final against Minnesota in St Paul and/or instead been shipped elsewhere, that they would have advanced to the Frozen Four? It was a damn miracle that that M*A*S*H unit went as far as it did.

Additionally, I hope Coach Renfrew is mentioned in Friday's pre-game announcements...would be a nice gesture to a former Sioux head coach...

Thanks for posting that, farce - very interesting read on the life of Al Renfrew. His UND tenure may have been a lot longer had Vic Heyliger not stepped down as the coach at Michigan in 1957. Rest in peace, coach.

I'm sure this opinion of Coastal Carolina in 2014 has nothing to do with the playoff smackdown that NDSU put on them last season, right? That "joke" of a team somehow managed to beat #4 Montana in Missoula the week before. Maybe...just maybe...that's a decent team?
