  1. That's not what you said at all. Your exact words were that Vandy would "work over" Nebraska. Go re-read your post. That sad-sack Nebraska team that lost to Minnesota last year also beat Georgia in the Gator Bowl - as I already pointed out in this thread earlier to scpa.
  2. They should be in the road jerseys section...
  3. Funny you should mention Georgia and Nebraska...you're simply saying that a game this season would be a reversal of last season's Gator Bowl, eh? For the record, I am an SEC fan and watch Georgia as often as I can. Now, Kentucky. Oh boy. 41-3 losers to LSU, 63-31 losers to Georgia, and 50-16 losers to Tennessee. Hangin' with the big boys!
  4. Vandy would work over Nebraska? You have lost your marbles.
  5. I didn't say that at all, but let's be reasonable here. The SEC certainly has its share of patsies and mediocre teams this season: Vanderbilt...Kentucky...South Carolina...Florida...Tennessee...Arkansas... some folks want to claim that those schools would work over Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Nebraska? C'mon.
  6. East, west, puh-tay-toe, puh-tah-toe.
  7. Then I'm surprised you're not a bigger fan of Michigan Tech, Goon. Hmnnn...now those look familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it...
  8. So why was the NCHC ignoring St Cloud State until bar-close time then?
  9. http://m.startribune.com/sports/blogs/283095481.html Just found it...
  10. No proof or link to substantiate the claim, but I had wondered myself if the B10 would be interested in ASU.
  11. More hockey history? Ummm...you do know that hockey at Notre Dame has existed for just over 100 years and it has pretty much been a D1 school since 1968, right? SCSU's been around the top level since, what, 1989? Michigan Tech had already completed a major renovation when St Cloud was promising to get one going. And don't even get me started on Western Michigan...
  12. So how do you explain St Cloud being on the do-not-call list until Notre Dame says "no thanks," at which time St Cloud is all of a sudden a great fit?
  13. Harvard beats Dartmouth 2-0 and RPI and UConn tie 1-1.
  14. For the love of all that is holy, get this Big 10 vs SEC football back-and-forth over to the FBS thread in NCAA News!
  15. Arizona State will likely play its games at US Airways Arena in DOWNTOWN PHOENIX? Good grief, NOOOOOOOO!
  16. I get that the common denominator is LSU. Your claim is that the "real" Florida is the one that played the Tigers tough. You're pretty optimistic that that's the team that would show up to play Wisconsin. Indiana - again, the worst team record-wise in in-conference play in the Big 10. And they own a win over the current SEC West leader Missouri.
  17. Watching the Sabres play the Sharks on NBCSN...good grief, Buffalo's 3rd jerseys are awful. Who designs garbage like that?
  18. I didn't see any of your jersey opinions listed in the home and away jersey threads...perhaps you're a secret admirer of the maroon and gold of Minnesota? In that case, you'll probably like what Arizona State comes up with.
  19. I guess you're counting on the Florida team that showed up for the Georgia game as opposed to the one that showed up for the Missouri game when they play Wisconsin, eh?
  20. Harvard and Dartmouth scoreless midway thru the first...
  21. Based on what? They have a common opponent, you know, in Indiana.
  22. What "profile" is that? Is it the same one that St Cloud State didn't meet until Notre Dame decided it didn't want in on the NCHC and then suddenly DID meet? Count me among the group of fans who want to see the WCHA survive and be relevant in the college hockey world.
  23. Yost Ice Arena is almost 100 years old and I'd take it in the NCHC any day of the week over WMU...just because it didn't cost $100 million doesn't make it a non kick-a$$ facility. And why wouldn't Bowling Green be a good fit in the NCHC?
