Pretty good effort Hak got out of his club in the last three games - they could have easily rolled over after the game three debacle.

2016 IIHF U 18 World Championships Open Thread

USA not aftaid to dish out some cheap shots too. -
You tryin' ta be Italian? Well don't 'cuz it hurts my eey-uzz!
-
And I have Bison friends who texted me during the game who said "congratulations - great job by your team." I personally don't know a single Bison fan who didn't think that Alabama wouldn't do anything less than hang 100 on NDSU. I think your Fargo hyperbole is, well, exaggeration.
-
Always fun to look at ONE fan from another program in any sport and judge the other 250,000-1,000,000 on the basis of him or her.
-
Oh, five straight national championships for UND hockey and you'll see plenty of chest-puffing in Grand Forks too!
-
Most folks: Fewest losses of any of the 8 NCAA championship teams in UND history. WOW! Cratter: Yea, but one of those was to Wisconsin.
-
I'll be your Huckleberry, Cratter. You might be my 2nd best bestie on SiouxSports.com, but you're outta your damn mind if you think this team wasn't "uber talented."
-
Boy, you've suddenly become Captain Optimism, haven't you?
-
Oh, four or five years without a Frozen Four appearance and maybe even a missed NCAA tournament or two...and that national championship would be in the rear-view mirror pretty quickly.
-
The Boston Strangler - greatest NBA nickname ever. And I don't care what anyone says, the '83 Sixers team would whoop any of those Bulls teams from the 1990's.

Who are the Broad Street Bullies? #TheSpectrum

The guy should win NHL coach of the year for getting the Flyers to the playoffs. This year's team isn't exactly the 1970's Islanders reincarnated.
-
REWIND? How about fast-forward?
-
Rather than beat this kid with a sack full of potatoes, I personally think we should be heaping praise upon him. After all, it's likely the first time an NDSU student has been able to write or speak more than a full sentence without throwing in a "Sioux suck sh*t!" comment - something doctors have recently diagnosed as IBS, or Irritable Bison Syndrome (sometimes also referred to as BTS, Bison Tourettes Syndrome or MUTS, Moo U Tourettes Syndrome). Haters gonna hate, but I consider this feat by an NDSU student to be most impressive.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2016 - 2017 Season

Schweitzer had some bad luck with injuries in 97-98. -
I'm not on Twitter, but Pat spits venom on the air every time Chris Porter's name comes up. He's still not over CP's goal in the 2007 regional - must've ruined his season only a week after Blake Wheeler's goal.
-
Porter went to UND, therefore, he's not worthy of being on the Wild roster. Parise was born and raised in MN and gets a free pass. Micheletti is a total Gopher homer. Would you kindly let him know that Boston College does NOT have the most NCAA hockey championships, as he indicated on yesterday's show, too, please?

Nobody wanted that Shayne Gostisbehere guy either - except Union College. That worked out pretty good for them. -
Had a couple of mock-ups done. Won't post pics here because of the doubters, but if you're into jerseys, PM me. It'll be worth a look.
-
I was never a fan of the monochrome look. Throw in kelly green helmets and they look like a band of jolly green giants!
-
No, they shouldn't!
-
Sam Anas playing thru excruciating pain = crybaby. UND fans crying when their team wins national title = loyalty.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2015-16 season

Unless North Dakota loses, then it's "the underdogs always get the lucky bounces against us!" -
Let's imagine you're a junior or senior playing in the national championship game. How likely are you to want to call it quits knowing you're the team's leader and best player? If Sam Anas played for UND in that same exact situation, we'd likely be applauding how "gutsy" and "courageous" he was for even attempting to continue playing.
