I am not a fan of Landry but I think its too bad to see him go out this way. You never want to see someone go out with an injury. Best of luck to your future Jake.

Are you even a football fan?? Who is the leader on offense...THE QUARTERBACK!!! He calls the plays in audibles, he throws the ball. Have you seen his stats? Not that impressive. He is a D2 QB on a FCS team. 61.8% completion rating, 11 TD 6 INT 1328yds Last year he had 12 TD and 9 INTs with a 59% completion rating not much improvement for a senior. And with this high flying offense he just doesn't fit the mold of a passing QB. He forces passes (we saw that against Idaho) he overthrows wide open receivers. So why shouldn't I blast the QB I sure the hell is not going to praise him.

I think you missed it when he said the first game be a PLAYOFF game. BSC champs (UND) hosting 3rd place in the MVFC (NDSU).

Obviously people missed what I said to start this thread. Before this game I have said fire Mussman he is horrible about as bad as Landry but then I think back and took a look at Roger Thomas and what he did in 1986-1989...nothing besides get our @sses kicked in the NCC espeically by NDSU but by the early 90's we were playoff bound and in 1993 we conquered the NCC. So maybe with the filtering out of D2 players (Landry!!) we could start to grow as a FCS team. We hit a bump in the transition road but maybe its better to have a season like this in transition than to have a season like this and missing the playoffs (2009 NDSU).

After last nights loss I would definately be in favor of firing Mussman...but the only thing that stops me from saying it is how did Roger Thomas do when he took over UND from Pat Behrns in 1986 he did nothing but build the team from the cellar to the top even beating the all mighty Bison in 1993. Maybe with Landry gone and as this team matures we will also grow. But this team needs help in the offseason and we need to put this season behind us.

Also what will happen with our tv contract. I am sure FCS will not want to televise a team with poor records and no people in the stands. Plus with games on tv that just adds to people staying away and not pay the 5 bucks for parking the expensive football ticket and the expensive concessions. I think its time for either a coaching change or go back to the standard form offense we had last year. This pistol, no huddle whatever it is..it stinks. Landry sucks plain and simple. Mussman will not bench him for Goska, and therefore needs to be removed. I feel like our team is the 2009 NDSU team. Hopefully we can fix the problems on the offseason and turn things around next year. My predictions went from 7-4 to 3-8.

How about making excuses on the coaching staff they lost the game. The players are only as good as they are coached. Mussman sucks as a coach...spend some money and get a good coach somewhere else.
