I think Kelly will tell the NCAA that their position is the same as the SBoHE and that UND should retire the name and that the transition process has begun, the NCAA will look at that as a step away from the name and side with them and put us back on the list if we use the name. Therefore a lawsuit (per state law) will be in the works no matter how Wayne Stenjum will be against it (he mucked up the settlement so I am sure he will muck up this one too).

RR at Fargo is at 35.32 as of 9:15am, and at this rate will be close to the 40ft mark by tomorrow afternoon. The Red was projected to crest at 39.5 but it may go higher. Mayor Walaker (don't get me started on this buffoon) may have the dikes raised up to 42 or 43 feet instead of stopping at 41. If you need a sandbag workout come to Fargo/Moorhead they could need you.

Just look at how pissed they were when UNC left the Great West for the Big Sky, they (NDSU) were bashing them up and down...why?? Because the BSC said no to NDSU joining them, and now UND is in and NDSU is still in the NCC 2.0 conference.

I love when people say that until it happens to their team. If the SBoHE says NDSU should not be the Bison anymore because its a sacred animal of Native Americans they should retire the name and go back to being called the NDSU Farmers. Lets go Farmers. How would NDSU fans like it? What an outrage...hey its just a name isn't it?

With storm after storm I think this flood could be worse than in 09 simply because of the cooler temps and the higher risks of ice jams.

Answer me this question, since scheduling is so tough especially during and a few years after transition......Why has NDSU had ZERO DII or NAIA teams on their schedule since 2006 (2008 was their first year after transitioning) and yet our schedule is full of them? Its the AD not the fact we are in transition...especaially when there are teams in our own conference we could schedule as "non-conference" teams.

How about members of the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe who approved the name. Why aren't they invited to the table??

Faison is ruining this school that is what he is doing. Plain and simple.

This is just like when we would play Moorhead St, and Crookston every year, yes its an easy win but it gets boring and fans want a little competition. Its not fun when your starters play 1/2 of the game. The only difference now is back then those wins against D2 teams counted towards the playoffs.....in DI they don't.

There was 2 things not great about our 2010 attendance. 1. 3-8 record. Fans don't show when your team sucks. 2. Home opponents. Not a great batch of teams: NE Oklahoma(DII), Northwestern St. (DI), SUU, Lamar (DI) and UC Davis. 9,719 for the NE Oklahoma game only because it was Potato Bowl. If we get a win against Idaho or Fresno St or even play close like the N. Illinois game fans will show for maybe the Drake, Cal Poly, and USD. But its hard to fill seats for 3 D2 teams.

9/15 UND is at San Diego State but 9/1 UND is open. Hey Faison call Vermillion ASAP!!!!
