  1. Our second year of transition (2007) we played teams like Texas A&M-Kingsville, and SCSU we averaged over 10,000 at the Alerus. We CAN fill the place we just need both a good team and a cause to come out to the stadium. A good team is coming, the cause starts next season with playoffs in the horizon.
  2. I love looking at those pics and hope it becomes a reality one day.
  3. Like Florida, Michigan, and Utah. States that the NCAA went after in 2005.
  4. How about a 25,000 seat stadium with a retractable roof located where Memorial Stadium sits. If only dreams can come true!
  5. Who to cheer for the Sioux or Kansas. I've been a fan of Kansas basketball since 1988 but I do love the green and white.

  7. Why do Bison fans talk bad about Canadians on our hockey team? Have you checked your own rosters and how many Canadians are on your team?
  8. Maybe more fans will turn out at a better stadium than the Alerus.
  9. 2 things: 1. What would cost more upgrading Memorial Stadium into the "FBS" type stadium or tearing down all of Memorial Stadium and building a whole new stadium on the same site, and second who would have thought we could have gone from a 6,067 seat REA to a 12,000+ new REA and have sellout after sellout. You put a good product on the field people will come. If you are a cellar dweller (E. Michigan type) people won't show. I think 25,000 would be a good number.
  10. If you look at what was settled....we lost that round.
  11. 15 months or July 1, 2012!!!! Its almost time to count the days instead of months or years.
  12. Its media envy they have down there. We have all the attention and they don't...sorry their baseball team isn't on pace to contend in Omaha.
  13. They could but the NCAA already said that UND will NOT be kicked out of the NCAA. So why bring up the NAIA.
  14. That pic is awesome!!!!!!!!!! ++++++++++++++1
  15. #1 Being a Bison fan is not helping you at all #2 The NCAA already assured UND that they WILL be able to play in championships in all sports we just can't be called the Fighting Sioux and wear the Indian logo. #3 Your blacklist consists of 3 teams Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa (which 2 out of the 3 we play in hockey and will continue to do so until the BTHC starts) #4 UND lost the lawsuit because they didn't have tribal support that the NCAA felt was acceptable even the Spirit Lake's support of 2000 wasn't good enough but now with the SL signed written permission with the tribal vote, plus the state law gives the school a lot more ammunition over the NCAA that we didn't have in 2007. #5 Go back to Bisonville and share this with your Bison buddies and we thank you for your support.

  17. Interesting how the SBoHE said they will get aprpoval from both tribes by 2010 in return we come off of the H&A list and not be held to postseason sanctions. Then Stenjum signed off on it while knowing the SR was going to be impossible to get their blessing. I hope this time around the SBoHE and Stenjum stays the hell out of it.
  18. This trial may be as long and as dramatic as the O.J. Simpson trial.
  19. Then how come Stenjum didn't sue them on this the first time around?
  20. When is the session over?
  21. That sums it up...except people in Bismarck wouldn't mind being called "Mary".
  22. I agree and technically we are not even on the list per the 2007 lawsuit agreement. We will go on the list August 15th. That is almost 4 months from now. A lot can happen. The state law doesn't even start until August 1st so maybe when the law is enacted the NCAA will be singing a different tune. Anything is possible.
  23. The NCAA is telling UND change the name. Even though UND knows its the law to keep the name, so if the name changes then UND, and IMO the NCAA is in violation of ND State law. Also the NCAA cannot say well that law came after our policy well your policy came after our nickname.
  24. Anyway to overturn the board of regents or are they the actual boss(es) of the university? Also my post was if Faison was talking about other schools putting us on hold (not UM, UW, and Iowa) sorry if i read it wrong.
  25. Good point but the NCAA would be an accessory to the charge. So UND would be robbing the bank but the NCAA would be driving the getaway car.
