Last years game in the Fargodome was hampered by a blizzard. I was at the game and if I wasn't within walking distance I wouldn't have gone.

Do you really want to compare discipline standards between the two schools? I don't see UND brought up all the time by the media (not just the Forum as I know you think it's all ran by UND people) about off field incidents, former players not showing up for community service, and having a jackass AD coming out saying no matter the outcome of the court they will NOT be suspended.

I thought the Slummit league was the Highest level of competition.

It was a non conference game in a tournament...and all wins are not meaningless if you want to make the playoffs. Or didn't you guys know that.

That's why I don't understand FU fans saying this (breaking their sentence) has nothing to do with FU because they aren't in school. It's comments like these from Taylor and Bohl's attitude of win at all cost that has these players feel like they are untouchable in the legal system.

Massey is a total douche. He rated UNI really high last year only because of SOS when their only win through 6 weeks was to a DII team. It is totally flawed and shouldn't be taken seriously. The only thing that matters is when the playoff committee announces who is in and who is out.

So he doesn't like the FCS games but his members are signing then with no problem..Utah, Washington, Arizona, Oregon. Wouldn't he tell his members to stop doing it kinda like how Douple told his members not to play UND. (Of course the members didn't listen)

If UND and the city got together to build a state of the art baseball stadium (nothing like Target Field but something like Newman Outdoor Field) they maybe could attract a minor league team and UND could use it for WAC baseball as well. Location in GF might be tricky as UND would want it semi close to the campus but I think space is limited.

Me and my wife took our 7 year old son to the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks game last night and it was a great game, it came down to the final at bat St. Paul won 7-6. But my son had a blast, and I kept thinking of when GF had the Varmints, how I missed that team. How come GF doesn't get a team like FM, Winnipeg, Sioux Falls and St. Paul? I would think if GF was in the same league (American Association) as those teams the interest would be high enough to support the team. The Northwoods League with the GF Channel Cats was a flop so I think the AA is the way to start. GF had the Chiefs in the 50's and 60's and had great success, that can happen again.

To go back on topic......a week from today August 1st single game tickets go on sale. I can't wait to get mine.

I guess its 2012 team vs 2009 team. NDSU was about to compete for its second title (no suspensions except one player due to priors) and the other team was coming off a 3-8 record (suspensions then dismissals). Yep Craig it is important to move forward except when you are a favorite to win a NC.

So word of mouth doesn't get around campus? Those recruits don't look at the papers and think " I am high and mighty I am a Bison football player". Lead by example. And Bohl sure the hell hasn't done that. What other excuses do you have for SMU 2.0 also known as NDSU.

They see the people in trouble before enrolling, they know about the free passes if not from Bohl then from other players or students. If Bohl can't control these players how can they deal with society when they get out? They must know the free rides stop when they leave school.
