I hate that. I don't care for minor sports like tennis, and golf even UND baseball i couldn't name one player however now with the WAC and an autobid I may be paying more attention too. I am a fan of UND hockey, football, basketball and now recently volleyball. All sports matter, yes some rake in more money than others but its still important and fans of only one sport shouldn't put down fans of other sports.

Does anyone know in a ballpark range how much more money schools like UND or NDSU would shell out if they had to raise more scholarships? And could the schools afford it?

Any news on what games will be in FCS? Also is Big Sky Tv just for conference games? I am just wondering if Valpo will only be on midco.

I am a fan of both. So to me both sports are important and both are hard to win. Right now UND is among the big boys in hockey, but in football we are just the average joes and with teams like Montana, Montana State, EWU and Cal Poly just winning our conference is tough enough winning a championship is even more tough. Hopefully with patience, luck, and a great recruiting class UND can get a championship in both sports.

NDSU is playing K-State equivalent with UND playing Texas Tech, as both FBS teams lost big name players, so lets see how NDSU does against a real BCS team as UND gave TT a good game being only our second year in DI. I don't think it will be 60-0 but maybe a 24-21 or 35-20 type score ( a win for KSU).

He needs the money to pay for Travis Beck's attorney fees.

I think making fun of any DI titles is lame. Whether its football, hockey, golf, whatever.

Looks like Travis Beck was at Bison practice today. Dressed but didn't practice so I guess that resisiting arrest charge (2nd one) disappeared and Beck is re-instated?

Was that his problem with the University of Illinois?

The day UND drops sports and boards up all the buildings on campus then they might be happy...of course they then will find something else to compare themselves to just to make them feel better.

And the nickel is just a replica of an actual coin so why not play for it again BUT only when the two are in the same conference until then put in a museum or the Alerus with the Sitting Bull Trophy (winner of the UND-USD game).
