Agree!! I think we should stay away from farming (leave that to SU) and go towards aviation. On a side note how about Warriors. I know West, Wilder, and Valley had Warriors and got changed but had an Indian head logo associated with it. But if UND doesn't go that route it would be accepted. I liked the nickname Varmints for the baseball team. It was an original name that no one around here (that I know of) had.

Seems like Brunell, Almlie (sp), Moore was the big stars that led UND to success in the 90's now it's the QB's. if we can get both great RB's and QB's on the field at the same time the team will go far. Last year seeing that air attack in person (PSU, UM) was something I haven't seen since maybe Kurt Otto in the mid 80's. it was fun to see points racked up in the air.

It might be the only way to get a big name team to Fargo.

NDSU just signed a 2 for 1 deal to host Southern Mississippi then going there for 2 games. WDAY said its the highest rated team to come to the BSA...who is the highest rated team to come to the Betty since going DI? I know overall its been Kansas but that was when we were DII.

Funny how all of a sudden UND has become a passing threat. Its always been run, run, run then last year UND is smashing passing records in the BSC. Did Muss turn UND into a pass happy team? I like to have a balance team, running first but be able to throw the long ball with success. Without a running game, you are setting yourself up for disaster. Having 2 1000 yd receivers would be awesome, but if we don't get a W then its worthless. Now 2 1000 yd rushers would mean you are controlling the clock, and wearing the defense down. AT my job it says on the handbook when you get hired that all emails is owned by the corporation and therefore for company use only. I am sure it's the same at most workplaces including universities. I think Brescani had something in the email he shouldn't have and got his hand caught in the cookie jar. I think Travis Beck just got a new bunk mate at the Cass County Jail. ( I know Beck is out but you get the point).

What would be important that you would have to get rid of 45,000 emails?? I can see Lakes doing that but Bresciani? Secret tuition increase, affair, embezzlement, secret meetings, season tickets to UND hockey? That would be a lot of emails to go through if he had them.

It's the fact they let JH join, it used to be all or nothing no affiliates, well hockey is a minor sport in the NCAA just like wrestling and lacrosse, so why not allow UND to join.

Actually it may be be that "out there". If John Hopkins can join the B1G why not UND? UND is a big money maker in hockey and if PSU fails they will need another "big hockey name" to join and since teams like Illinois or Indiana is not in the future why not UND? Imagine the $$$ from the team who is #1 in attendance. It may become a reality when their !@#!$ conference fails.

So what's the odds the SL loses another team or two between now and July 1st of 2014? Knowing the history of the SL...pretty good. The SU's will be knocking on the BSC's door by Christmas.
