I'm probably going to get ripped for this....if Mo State moves does that free up a MVFC spot for UND? Or should UND just hang out in the BSC until the Big 5 split and a new FBS is born.

But do they support GFC? Nicknames don't matter it's the name in front of it that matter.

Why don't you ask the alumni of Grand Forks Central if they are over the name change? I myself hate that GFC is not the Redskins, however I will always cheer for them even though they are called the Knights (a name I voted for in the spring of 1994). UND won't be called the Sioux but I will always cheer for the UND (enter nickname here).

It is true UND actually were supposed to have a new name after the 2010 deadline but the state law and cooling off period messed up the timeline.

I am sure there are other schools that have the same name for a college and HS. West and Wilder Elementary school was the Warriors, so was Valley Jr High, should the schools have fought to see what one school can have the nickname? I would rather UND be the Rough Riders than being known as a color. (And no the no-nickname choice is not an option)

UND had green and white cheers back in the 90's (green and white, fight, fight, fight), it is the school colors but I can't see them using that a name. I hate to say it (GFC grad) but Roughriders may be the popular choice of the state (mainly the SBoHE).

Actually DI hockey is the highest brand of college hockey in the NCAA. In NO way am I a Bison fan, but calling an FCS title a JV football title is really stupid. UND is in the same boat as they are, and we should be happy to play in a division (subdivision) that allows a playoff game and a true winner. No way will we or NDSU, or even Miami, OH be crowned National Champs in the FBS world. So technically this is the highest NC our football team will ever see.

Are you a Husker fan? Well I am since the 80's and Pelini is one of the worst coaches ever at Nebraska. He ripped his fans, calling them fair weather after 270+ straight sellouts, what coach does that? NU hasn't seen a NC game for a long time and it's getting old. They lost to the Gophers, they almost lost to Wyoming...WYOMING!!!! The old NU program would have put up 70 on Minny and Wyoming. This team is a joke with the joker as the leader.

Nebraska needs a QB but I don't think any player wants to play for Bo Pelini, that man needs to be fired as much as Muss did.
