We will always be called NDSU by media that doesn't know the difference and it's not because of the nickname. In 2001 ESPN called us North Dakota St during the DII football championship game against GVSU. They do that with NDSU too, by not only media but the NCAA. Lol!!

Actually hockey is pretty popular here with the Fargo Force. Parking is crap at Scheel's Arena but other than that its not too bad. I just think kids would love to play hockey in the nicest hockey arena not only in this state but anywhere. Football should be at the Fargodome, basketball should rotate but I can see Fargo getting that one when the new SHAC is completed, and hockey should be in Grand Forks.

Its only in Fargo because of the rotation between the big cities. I am sure the hockey tournament will return to the REA. Its like moving the Minnesota hockey tournament to Bemidji, its fine in theory but kids don't get jacked up all year to play in a tiny arena.

Total Defense: 2013: SIU 21st (yds against/game) UND 115th out of 121 teams, I think I will have a lot more faith in Bubba than Muss.

Fargo is just as bad, every part of the city is under construction the worst (IMO) is on 19th in front of the Fargodome. It's not due to be done til October.

I miss the old running of the ball and controlling that clock. It gave the defense some much needed rest.
