Facilities, scholarships (can't tell me ISU, and Weber fully funds football) plus we are starting only our 3rd year in the BSC with almost the exact record NDSU had going into their 3rd year. You think UND would stay in the FCS while most of the BSC moved up? Bubba will turn this team around.

We have one GWFC title and zero FBS wins..just like SDSU.

No one said a hair below, they would be in the upper FCS group like half of the Big Sky and MVFC.

As much as Idaho does.

The ideal move would be what Fullerton wants a move up of conferences (maybe not all members but some) in the FCS to merge with the G5 conferences. P5, G5/upper FCS, lower FCS, DII, DIII. Of course the G5 schools would freak on that thought.

So what's happening with Michigan, Minnesota, Alabama, and UCLA is going to help better Ball State, Wyoming, UTEP, and the FCS? All I see is a mass exit of g5 and FCS players being recruited or scouted by, and making a dash for the $5 (my abbreviation for the p5).

Seemed so long to get here, now its about to get real. I can't wait to see UND put the smack down on the Spartans.

As for the media I have only heard it during the whole nickname phase either during the retiring of the name or just lately, I can't recall it being used in print prior to 2005 (when the whole nickname issue started by the NCAA).

I agree Green and White will sell as much merchandise as what UND has now. I am sure UND can't be making any money or not much on merchandise as they were as the Fighting Sioux. Sun Dogs is fine if GF got a baseball team, but not for UND. UND needs to pick a name related to the school like using the aerospace. Flyers is used by Dayton, but something with planes or drones etc.

Dartmouth has Big Green, and North Texas has Mean Green. Green and White is available. The things that will be up for debate is picking a name that will sell merchandise, have a mascot walking around the stadium, and unfortunately is PC (complies with NCAA rules).

Won't happen, UND will have a new nickname, this will be the last year of just being known as North Dakota, Next year it will be North Dakota (enter nickname here).

Has Bubba recruited a QB yet? Because if Mollberg and Bartles don't work in Bubba's offense he may go with someone else, we don't need a Dan Marino at QB we need a QB to backup our running game.
