I was one of those in attendance. Our OL is bad, maybe if Studsrud had more protection he could find a receiver downfield. Running game did a lot better, of course UND had some tackling issues. Very poor on some. You can tell how injuries are taking its toll on this team.

Central used their colors for a year or two as a nickname before the spring of 1994 when Knights was voted in for that fall. I think sportswriters are using green and white as a filler until the new nickname takes place next year. I can't see UND using it as a permanent name. It would suck for merchandising as is the current "no nickname".

My dad got us 2 tickets for the game from a guy he knows, I am looking forward to seeing Keaton in person and hopefully UND can pull out a victory and erase that thrashing last week in Cheney. No matter how bad UND is, I will always go to a game with my dad. Its things like that, that bring back memories of him taking me to games in the mid to late 80's when UND was on its rebuilding era, and in the end he was sitting next to me (along with my mom) watching UND beat the Bison in 1993 and end up winning a share of the NCC title for the first time since 1979 (before i went to any games). I think with those 2 players leaving Bubba is trying to do what he can to keep the team together and stronger. Something may have been said or done behind closed doors that we don't know about, but its better to stop the problem immediately before it has long term effects (the last 3 games, offseason, etc.).

I remember when it was just MSC (Midwest Sports Channel) and the only UND game on was the Sioux/Gophers with Tom Reid and Frank Mozacco(sp). Now as FSN they are showing more UND games. How things has changed in less than 20 years.

Fargo has spent all summer expanding the water treatment plant, to filter some of that Devils Lake water.

Same with the flooding issues in Fargo. A stadium isn't first priority.

That's why I see funding done either solely by NDSU or with help from the state. The city will not get the votes to fund a stadium.
