Let's get a little lower than Coach K, how about Bill Self. I know K is too expensive Self is a little more affordable.

Why do you always bring up Coach K? The name most commonly thrown around is the coach of MSUM. UND spent a little money and got Bubba and in 2 years got us at 7-4. Quite the turnaround with a good coach.

Where would UND hockey be if Hakstol for 10 years didn't appear in the frozen four? If he had a .500 or below record every year including tying for last place? Couldn't beat any ranked team in hockey, can only produce 31 road wins in 8 years which is just under 4 road wins a year on average. Would Faison let him coach that long? The hockey fanbase would be at an uproar...but it's okay to let men's basketball suffer with being subpar.

Let's not bash the FCS, after all we play and fight for an FCS Championship just like NDSU does. I would be very impressed and proud if we can win 5 hell 1 FCS title. 2001 was a great year for this program and hopefully we have many more like it.

Didn't SUU go winless one year until we played them and they beat us. Jones needs this tourney to save his job.

Actually tournaments counts in the W-L record, so he could finish a couple or more above .500 or he could be at .500 (if no CIT invite). Worst case loses in round 1 of the BSC tournament and loses in the 1st round of the CIT finishes 15-16. Either way he hasn't had a winning record since 17-14 in the last season of the GWC (2011-12).

Our only sellouts (not including playoffs) has only been NDSU. They had some nice crowds in 2008, our first year in DI.

When you go 4-14 and finish tied for last there is nowhere to go but up.

I could explain it, but I've said all I can on this subject. If Jones brings with program down like Muss did, its Faison's fault. If Jones gets us to the dance, well thats great.

Is this really the home of UND football? If it was you would think UND could design or implement the football part of the building anyway they want. The Alerus can change the conference rooms however they like.
