I'm heading to Milwaukee with my daughter. I've got a pretty excited 5th grader - getting to skip 2 days of school to watch the Sioux bring home #8! Staying at the Holiday Inn 3 blocks from the rink. We're driving to Chicago on Friday to visit my sister. I'm thinking about checking out the Oilers/Blackhawks.

I don't recall seeing any discussion about this on ss.com, but I've had a couple different people tell me in the last few days that they heard Spirko may be heading to Europe when the season is over. Has anybody else heard anything? Let's hope this is just some clown starting a rumor to try to get a rise out of some people!

In my opinion, best game the Sioux have played this year (that I have seen). I know that Michigan is a mediocre team in a mediocre conference, but I don't think it matters who was on the ice tonight. How about some props for Hakstol? He's definitely proving to be a master at getting his team to peak in March & April. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Holy Cross has never had that many people cheering for them before. Too bad for them they have to be on the other side tomorrow night!

Coming back from the Final Five this morning, a guy from KFAN 1130 announced the game times for Friday night and said Michigan will play North Dakota State at 8:30 pm.

I ran a scenario that got the Sioux to the 4th spot in the PWR with an opening matchup against Holy Cross. I'd take that!

Saturday morning would work better for me.
