You know better than anyone that the odds of Lee and JT coming back are about 5% or less and that the others that DH mentioned are the ones already released via the press. If JT comes back (regardless of Lee's decision) it will be the biggest post-season-post season victory in UND history with only Finley (who is staying according to reliable sources) left to make his declaration. PCM - If I am wrong - either way - I will buy you any order at the Red Pepper that you wish and do it with a smile!

I was right where I said I would be... drinking at a table and at the bar... and the closest person to the impromptu "Ugly Coyote" dance by the AH female bartending staff (i.e. See ScottM and release_the_commodore and UNDLAW drool spot on the bar!). Couldn't stomach going back after the - gulp - "loss" to BC and decided to get drunk with a bunch of Maine fans at the closest bar near The Omni (our hotel). Next year... YES, next year when we go to Denver... I will organize a get together that will include tatooing these ID's to your backside personally!

I printed off about 40 requested... about 30 known STL attendees... and another 30 "blank" siouxsports.com press-style name badges and will be at Al Hrabosky's from no later than 3:00 p.m. until about 6:15 p.m. on Thursday handing out the name badges. I will probably be wearing faded/torn blue jeans with some type of gray UND hockey shirt with lighter green long sleeve under shirt and black pseudo-tennis shoes with a black or green UND hockey hat... and with a beer and bloody mary in front of me. In any event, I will ask if I can get a table so I can just display all of the name badges for you all to grab as you enter but, if not, find me and claim your name badge and let the good times roll!!! For reference, I will probably be with "Wrong side of the red" and/or "Rick" and/or "release_the_commodore" and/or "hrkac" and, if you know schmidtdoggydog or blackheart, they should be able to point me out as well. Trying to answer all your questions: 1) In Minnesota (and I think in North Dakota) you can get a DUI on private property and while operating any motorized capable machinery (i.e. if you stood atop a push behind self-propelled lawn mower under the right circumstances you can get a DUI if over .08% or if they can prove that you ability to operate such machinery was affected by alcohol or illegal drugs (excluding THC in most states) or a combination of both). 2) Even if you don't need a driver's license to drive a Zamboni, in Minnesota, if you are caught operating a boat/snowmobile/jet ski/(zamboni?) while under the influence it counts an enhanceable offense but doesn't cause you to lose your DL on your first offense. Therefore, you don't need a DL to get a DUI on a zamboni under this line of thinking. 3) Although police can't "give out" DUI's based upon what somebody said, they do have the right to investigate and, in Minnesota, even pull you over if such information is given by a known informant (as opposed to an anonymous tip). With a known informant, someone can actually lie and so and so looks like they are driving drunk at so and so location and the cops can pull you over without witnessing any of the aforementioned driving conduct. However, if it is an anonymous tip, such information can (read "should") only be used to put the police into a position to witness such conduct and to confirm the description of the alleged person/vehicle and, if they match, can then stop such motor vehicle. Of course, in real life, the police will go to your house if someone said you were speeding two hours ago and ask you if you were speeding (without the benefit of a Miranda warning no less!) and if you say "Yes," will write you a ticket for it! Best bet... drink at home and take cabs!

That is what scientists say. Personally, I agree with you. And, I like the slimming characteristics it gives when you are carrying that extra 20 pounds of winter "hockey weight." AND, seriously, PCM... do you actually sleep or do you spend your time away from this board reading about hockey so you can show us up when you come back... either way... may a higher power bless you for it!

It has been scientifically shown that black, especially when worn on the feet and legs, gives the appearance that poeple are moving slower. In athletic competition, this has its most sincere advantage when an opposing player is taking an angle of attack and, due to the black making the opponent look slower, takes an angle which places the opposing player behind the opponent. The most common example is on a football field when someone is streaking down the sideline and a person is coming from across the field and is trying to time his approach to the sideline at the exact time the ball carrier will be at that spot. In hockey, it works the same when traveling through neutral ice or when a player is lining up someone for a check and misses or only grazes on the check. For UND, I REALLY think it helps players like Duncan (and Bina?) who is undersized with good speed. Lastly, and most importantly, they look cool. My wife bought a whole box of press style over the head name badges that I am making for SiouxSports.com members to help us get together (and depending on how much you have drank) and stay together and to otherwise socialize. Heat gun sounds like a better bet from here on out! PS - And punching out your own skates with a 5 guage punch is not a proper substitute for professional removal of hot spots...

Some type of gray Fighting Sioux Hockey t-shirt with long sleeve Sioux green t-shirt underneath. Hat forward when winning or tied (unless it is overtime) and hat backwards when losing and in OT (i.e. whenever we NEED a goal). Black shoes. No peeing when UND is on the PP or PK. Volume off when Doug Woog is speaking...

Nope. That is fine. If you want your "Sioux" Name in Big and your real name (first or first and last) smaller underneath I can do that as well.
