Does anyone have the Mid-West Regional Championship Game (i.e. Fighting Sioux v. Bucky) as my brother lives in Seattle, WA and wants to re-watch the game. Any help would be much appreciated.

This is awesome!!! I just downloaded this to my computer that is hooked up to my bigscreen. It is a little grainy though. Is there anyway to clean it up using the controls on the media player? Also, did anyone else lose connection last night. I didn't have it and if I am going to lose it right before or during the game I am going to the bar right now!!!

Wow! After 300+ posts for the game and I post once... who would have thought I would have been picked on at all. I was referring ONLY to the play of Oshie and Duncan not being the players of the game (which is the case when you linemate has a hat trick and you defense plays lke crapola!), and not degrading their play, If I was going to degrade anyone for today it would be: 1) Lammy (for goals 2 and 3)... they left you hanging but you gotta earn your cudos... 2) Hak... I would have done it too but you can't get caught on tape... do it in the hallway or after the game or get his cel phone number and tell him at 4:00 a.m. after having a few; and 3) to the ENTIRE FIGHTING SIOUX HOCKEY TEAM... you are starting to play like the team we always knew you were but who you are just recently thinking you can be... I will accept failure in true effort, but true failure in the absence of effort in unexcusable. I like the second half of you and look forward to you redeeming yourself with success number 8.

He must play AWESOME in practice but, as of yet anyway, he is not doing so in games... not that he is making killer mistakes, but he just seems to be a 1/2 step behind the play or in the play and responding just a bit too slow. In any event, you need to play to learn to play at this level and Eades and Hak have seen enough to at least feel he is not a liability so that is enough for me for now... we had this same conversation about Lammy a few years back and we are seeing how that turned out (tonights result but not "hung him out to dry" play excepted)... By the way, if you could have a "You Gotta Give Him Credit Award" in hockey, both Duncan and Oshie showed what it means to contribute without being a "Star" on the board with the way they played tonight. They may not get the interview or the press in the coverage for tonights game, but they were THE DIFFERENCE in tonights game and I am just ver releaved to have someone like Kozek who works equally hard to capitalize off their efforts and his own outstanding personal skills. That's just it newbie... it's NOT hockey. Maybe in the back yard when you are playing with your sister in the local ringette league, but not hockey. Talk to me when you get 50 posts on this board and don't post only when your home town team is playing the Sioux.

I agree it has been going to too long. Maybe Hak and other coaches of the "skilled teams" (i.e. Sioux, CC, Minnesota, Denver/Wisco (some years) should tell the officials and WCHA head office persons that "if you let this crap go on next year... I'm gonna tell my players to deal with it in the quickest and most effective manner possible (i.e. stick to mid or elbow to the chin)" and then actually follow through with it. If the league truly cares about the players, they would sooner start calling the penalty that caused the player to commit the elbow/stick penalty because, in the end, it would both follow the rules AND prevent these players from getting hurt when a player being held responds. Just my $.02.

So we should just accept it? If you accept it then you have succumb to it. That is NOT Sioux Hockey! I say that if another teams holds and grabs, you should be able to elbow and slash to escape. Too bad WCHA refs are so consistently inconsistent...

Call and order the sports pak and you will have it in a matter of minutes...

The problem is everywhere. Face it... we are average on offense (on average i.e. 1 goal one night 8 the next), average on defense (with shining moments from one player from time to time) and below average (at least according to WCHA standards) on special teams... that equals average team which is exactly what we have proven to be thus far. And, not coming from behind 99% of the time when down at two periods ain't exactly a rallying call for team heart. Rant over.
