  1. Taylor would be a good choice, but my money is on Bina especially after all he has gone thru. Addendum: Toews wears the "C" if he returns.
  2. Crazier things have happened, but I agree that Oshie is next to stay and then Toews will have a tough choice...and decides to stay as well!
  3. I think sometimes "we" give these young men too little credit as far as making decisions that are best for them. Obviously staying in the college atmosphere/setting is what is best for alot of these guys. Some will feel that turning professional is what is best. But in a day and age of greedy, me! me! athletes (MLB and NBA players at the top of the list), it is refreshing to see these 2 young men put friendships, teammates and an experience that college provide as a priority at this point in their lives. Now with that being said, I would not have any issues if Toews, Lee or Oshie turns pro or stays for another year. Although it would be nice to have them all around next year, I have no doubt that each will make the best decision for them down the road. And those decisions, whether "we" approve or not, should be respected.
  4. My daughter and I will be making the trip up from Fargo.
  5. I know this thread is CORY SCHNEIDER, but let's give credit where credit is due. Lammy was on the WCHA and West Regional All-tourney teams. He may not be Schneider-like , but I like what he brings to this team and I expect him to bring it tonight.
  6. Give me Vegas odds on that and Lou, I'll buy you the Kool-Aid stand with my winnings!
  7. Only if Lammy gives up 2 in the first minute of periods 1 and 2 like he did against Michigan and that won't happen. The better odds are that Rosie runs for President on the Republican ticket in 2008 than BC hanging 6 on Lammy!!
  8. It truly is the time of year to give thanks for an awesome gift of sacrifice and victory that none of us are deserving of.
  9. Agree with most of your points, but if BC wants to go toe to toe from a physicality stand point, that will play into UND's hands. And I don't see UND coming out with the bloody nose after 60 minutes!
  10. That works for me since Dunc and JT will get 2 each and the Osh gets 1 tonight!!! If someone else chips in, I won't complain...
  11. I hope both teams bring their A games. And if both do, I think UND's combo of high skill and physicality will eventually wear down the speed and smaller sized Eagles. I got the UND 4-2 (5-2 with a possible ENG)
  12. I'm hoping the boys learned their lesson from the Michigan game. Was there live and Michigan was the fastest team I've seen this year.
  13. My wife says sex is overrated too for whatever that's worth!!!
  14. I'ld say that's the key. If UND plays it's game and Lammy is good, Schneider can stand on his head because he'll see way more GRADE-A chances than he is used to and it still won't matter. Also saw that York is going to put Boyle and his partner against the DOT line. After the DOT line makes Boyle look like a slalom pole in the first period, York's strategy might change!
  15. That is a syndicated segment that is played daily PRIOR to Common's "progrum" and usually Common will reference a "bit" if it is a "bit". But I'm sure with your reasoning you probably also fall in line with what Rosie has to say about conspiracies?
  16. Whether Schneider feels pressure or not, don't expect to see BC playing on Sat. if he faces 37 shot from UND tonight. UND's skill level is slightly higher than Miami's.
  17. Schneider is a fine goalie, but taking on 30+ shot from the DOT line and Co. will be a little different than the 37 shots he faced vs. Miami in his last outing.
  18. I am not on my way to St. Louis, but I'll be on my way to WI tomorrow to spend Easter with my in-laws Talk about a double wammy!!! But have made plans to sneak away and catch the game on TV.
  19. I am assuming Puffy/Dubay was at the controls and played the clip since he is still in denial about his beloved Gophers...
  20. Don't know if anyone else heard this a few minutes ago. Was listening to KFAN and their segment "3rd and Long with Howie Long" at 1 pm. Howie's commentary was how the fans of St. Louis are going to get a glimpse of their NHL future in....ERIC JOHNSON as he and the Minnesota Gophers will be playing in this year's Frozen Four. Oops I guess if you are going to pre-record info, you should make sure it fits with what is really going to take place!!!
  21. Having seen Michigan in Denver, I would agree. Based on all the teams I've seen UND play this year, Michigan was the quickest/fastest. I think UND was caught off guard by Michigan's speed initially and I don't see that happening with BC especially after last year's semi game.

Just flew back from Denver with my 7 year old daughter. She sat by Lammy's girlfreind on the flight back. What a delightful young lady. My daughter was quizzing her on who's leaving/staying. No real insight. What a fantastic weekend!! She has been beaming from ear to ear since the final horn yesterday. The Sioux support was great. Have family Easter committments in WI. so won't make it to St. Louis. One comment about Michigan. Having been there live, that team can SKATE!!! Fastest team I've seen play all year. My daughter said her throat got sore from chanting "Sieve, Sieve, ..." so much that game!!! GO SIOUX!!!!
  23. In my best high pitched Dubay voice--"That's hockey..."
  24. I agree, Lammy did play well overall last weekend. But my point was U-M will probably score a couple of goals and there is a difference in a couple of goals vs. a couple of goals + a soft one or two...
