Been to a ton of UND FB game...easily worst overall experience ever. No crowd no atmosphere and brutal FB. Get use to it people...contract doesn't expire for a couple more years.

If the goal light goes off don't the refs have to review the play?? Gaarder should of had 4. Goal light didn't go off but yet they reviewed the BU play. Anyone have an explanation? We were passing hat to collect bail $$$ for Hak during BU review cause he would have come over the boards to inflict damage if they would have allowed the BU goal.

I have said many times Gaarder is a poor man's Oshie. Gets to the greasy areas, plays physical and gets to where he needs to be on the ice without being a great skater. As well as Forbort has played this year he was not good last night. IMO Gleason is the most overlooked player on this squad. O'Donnell is a better fit on 2nd line. Kristo looked really good playing his off wing. St Claire continues to impress me.

With all the high end talent here at UND over the years I can't think of a player that when he gets the puck on his stick in the open ice fans in the Ralph rise to their feet looking for something special to happen. I'm talking about Rocco of course. He brings a buzz to the Ralph unlike anyone I can remember since that kid who orchestred the "Circus".

Put aside how anyone feels about Muss as a "coach" and his philosophies on gameday. Anyone at the UNA game when they basically headhunted Braden late with a blatant spear that knocked him out of the game? Anyone see any reaction from Muss in that situation? The demeanor of a HC speaks volumes to the young men he is suppose to be leading. That single situation spoke volumes IMO. I know Bohl a little bit...zero chance he would have handled that situation as Muss did...or didn't.

But this isn't his first year as HC. Minus last year's success vs. a very soft schedule how has this year been really different form all his previous years? I have no doubt he will be here thru his current contract, I just haven't seen anything in his demeanor and coaching style/philosophy that would suggest that next year or the year after are going to be markedly better. We have some good talent, but not really good Big Sky level talent. We need an upgrade in overall talent and we need an upgrade in coaching...Muss is responsible for both those issues.

Exactly...either stack top line or balance out a couple. Hak feels latter is best now. Was very evident tho Rocco would make top line probably a top 3 overall line in college hockey.

Was at that game...totally agree. But new year and early in the season so who knows?? If UND plays both games like last Friday I like their chances.

Maybe that's why Rocco was easily our most energized player Saturday?!?!
