I would agree...now there could be/are multiple factors: cultural, wanting to get closer to home, weather!!!, ect...but statistically based on the overall make-up of the roster and those that have departed I would say that is definitely a trend.

Now that I have come to grips that it's Bubba or DeBoer I'm with gfhockey...I think Bubba can bring a little spark to this program and he will get the D competitive quickly.

The hiring of a head coach in any sport at a D1 university starts and stops with the AD. Not going to post a poll but on a scale of 1-10: (1 being dismal and 10 amazing)...how would rate BF's performance in this HC hiring process? Just curious........

Well this is the bed BF has made with either one of these 2. I hope it works out but other than axing Pflu from the list I question his due diligence in this whole process.

Just makes no sense...no call to Caruso? He is at a minimum on the same level as DeBoer as a candidate IMO. BF has this "vast network", is a great leader and visionary from what some say but he poaches the DC and OC from Lennon's staff as his 2 finalists?? Heck I could have done that by yesterday. BF must have a man crush for DeBoer or there really wasn't much of a search to speak of...or this program has fallen so far that anyone on BF's short list said "no thanks".

I understand the egos and ect... But what's your point? BF reached out to a coach WITH a job in DeBoer but couldn't do the same with Caruso to gage his interest?

Bubba...if he is successful he sticks. Not so for DeBoer IMO. If either can't get it done they are gone anyways.
