I assume it is a joint vote......... unless you each qualify for a vote under the guidelines. Here is the deal in our house.......we get one vote. My wife and 2 daughters aren't fans of RR. My wife is a WI grad. My 2 daughters aren't even old enough to drive. I write the check for our UND tickets and Champion's Club. I graduated from UND. There are a few times in a household where the minority vote carries the issue in question. "We" will be voting for RR.

That was college FB at its finest. Great play by both team. I'd pay to see a rematch down the road.

I think Kelley, with some help from his friends, did pretty a good job of doing that a long time ago.

He is correct but the roller coaster ride for him to get to this point in making this statement once again shows a total lack of leadership and vision with this entire process.

At the sake of kicking a dead horse, which I will do, no one outside of GF residents or RRHS alums care that the community of GF has a HS team nicknamed RR. Just saying.........

So.................it is highly unlikely that one of the 5 gets 50% after the first vote and is declared the nickname. What will be the 2 to eventually choose from in round 2? My guess is RR and Hawks.

If any alumni and/or supporter were to do this I would hope they would the courage to come forward.............so we could have a public flogging prior to a hockey game in the dead of winter.

In another thread on this site voting among the 5 options left RR has received 48.5% of the vote.

Can not believe I'm saying this but I think we agree on something. These were my exact thoughts as well.

I guess that opinion simplifies things especially when you want to ignore the facts that have come out. But I'm sure you would be singing the same tune if the scenario was exactly the same with a white male opening fire and killing a black male and female and then leaving a manifesto praising the killer in the SC shootings.......................

I think you have that backwards.......... You seemed to miss a minor detail... the disgruntled black individual killed two white people. In SC a white person killed multiple black people. Is there a difference between these 2 senseless killings?

The more info that is coming out on the black shooter reveals this was nothing more than a racial hate crime IMO..........but it will never be deemed a such cause the shooter was..........black.

Tragedy in VA.........a black man kills a white male and female on live TV then turns the gun on himself.
