    Was driving south on University Dr in south Fargo at noon and saw on an electronic billboard an ad promoting UND broadcasts now on KFGO. The billboard ad had the new "Hawks" logo on it. Absolutely. Hideous! To actually see it being used in an advertisement spread solidified how poorly this logo really is.

    Just a guess...........Ausmus living in EGF probably has a history and connection with the old logo. O'Brien from Illinois probably got his first hint UND even existed when being recruited in 2012. Apples to oranges.

    O'Brien: "I love it". Ausmus: "Ugliest...I have ever seen". O'Brien: True representation of a UND athlete, great leader and true American patriot. Ausmus: Poor example of a UND athlete, feeding resistance to all, and a Canadian who should have stayed in his own country because EGF is close to Canada. .........am I missing anything?

    Connor is from Illinois. Came to UND in 2013 I believe. Probably had no idea UND existed prior to 2011 or 2012. Good for him that he "loves it". Wouldn't expect him to say anything different. BTW.......I enjoy watching him play.

    One doesn't need to embrace a pathetic generic nickname which now comes with and includes a half assed attempt at a logo to still embrace the University of North Dakota and/or it's athletic programs.

    When you put it that way it makes me sound way too unqualified to work for the Clinton campaign if I decided to make a quick career shift into politics. .....and IMO one of the biggest issues with college is the student, I'm sure you were one, that felt/feels the need to cram a 4 yr. degree into 7 years. Makes it tough for those students who know what they want to accomplish to get done in 4 yrs.
