  1. BU wins 8-2 over Providence despite being outshot 40-19. Dang. Prov goalie with the atrocious save % and BU's mid-season FR goalie Yegorov with another big win. Yegorov has a 1.89 GAA and a .935 save % in his 11 games. Pretty crazy.
  2. Berry needs to put the press on to get him to swap commitments.
  3. BU crushing Providence 7-1 in the 3rd. BU only has 18 shots but 7 have gone in.
  4. Oh duh. I just looked at the line chart from last game where he was out injured. So...yeah. 9 D already in place unless someone signs or goes portal.
  5. Add Zmolek and Laurila to the group of Livanavage, Wiebe, MacDonald, Strathmann, Jubenvill, and Komzak. The article mentions that they'd probably carry 9 D, so potentially only need one more dman unless anyone departs. Either way, that's a very good d-corps right there to build a team around.
  6. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/bennett-zmolek-to-return-to-und-for-2025-26-season Fantastic news for next season already. He still has 2 seasons of eligibility remaining too.
  7. Agreed on Komzak. Forgetting about the senior weekend warm fuzzies...I'd rather see Monty or Kunz sitting, have Komzak as 6th D, keep Croal with Littler...maybe put Monty as extra skater so he can fill in at D or F if needed. It won't happen though on SR weekend. I'd stack that first line and keep the FR line together. Perron-Berg-James Croal-Boisvert-Littler Swanson-Wilkie-OMac Strinden-Schmaltz-Jammer I hate putting Strinden on 4th, as he's been playing really well the last few weeks IMO. Getting Perron back will require some line shuffling, but it'll be good if he can return with the same play from before he got injured.
  8. Nice firsthand scouting! Net front on PP1...he could take Kunz's spot and maybe add a bit more offense.
  9. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/jayden-perron-dane-montgomery-expected-to-return-to-lineup-for-und Omaha also has a few questionable players with injuries:
  10. Schloss got his article up on Zakreski's commitment: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/josh-zakreski-is-first-chl-player-to-commit-to-und-hockey-since-rule-change Spittin' Chiclets video paying dividends again.
  11. Mostly good news on the injury front at least. Perron & Monty can both play. Emery still out though.
  12. Yep! Have we won a game all season on National TV? Maybe the Friday BU game? I don’t remember if that one was on NCHC TV or not.
  13. Updated as of 3/2 Added Zakreski to the list! Klee has 101 PM this season. Zellers is 1st in goals in USHL, 11 goals ahead of 2nd despite playing 7 less games. Zellers also leads the USHL in shots with 189...next closest has 165. Kid likes to shoot...and score. 14. Yes. This. 100% If Senden and Hain were still on this team, they'd be getting 1st line minutes and PP/PK.
  15. Yes for sure. They've put themselves into those situations far too many times this year. Berry mentions that at the end:

  17. They'd still probably sweep us in the playoffs though...
  18. Agreed. Getting Perron back would be a boost if he's able...
  19. Here are the NCHC tiebreakers: If we tie with UNO, tiebreaker #1 would be out since we only play UNO for one series this year. If that's the case, then UNO would hold the tiebreaker over us because we currently have 10 RW and they have 12 RW. So we need to get 5+ points this weekend against UNO, or they will finish ahead of us.
  20. Best that UND can finish is 3rd. Worst they can finish is 5th. It's looking really likely that UND gets either UNO or DU for first round...outside chance of CC. I'd much rather them face UNO, but we'll see what happens next weekend. UND needs to make up 2pts to tie them, 3pts to pass them.
  21. There's gonna be some desperate teams in St Paul for the Faceoff, trying to extend their seasons. Really only Western is in a strong position come NCAA tourney time. DU is probably in, but sitting close at 10. All the other teams need to win that tourney to get into the NCAA's. Hopefully it makes for some good hockey.
  22. Their FB group would explode if that happens. That whole group has a severe mis-understanding about anything related to PWR or the useless polls...it's quite comical reading every Monday morning when the polls get released.
  23. That helps us if we want to potentially finish 3rd, although I'm pretty sure DU has the tie breaker on us so we'd have to pass them in points.
