  1. We'll see how Lindenwood does next weekend with undefeated Miami. Miami could realistically start the season 6-0 before the NCHC games begin.
  2. Giampa and the young Russian putting up some serious points so far for them. We’ll see if they can continue playing well once NCHC play begins.
  3. Any mention of fireworks?
  4. Pretty darn good night for NCHC teams though. That'll help.
  5. Somehow UNO got outshot 49-24 in that game.
  6. Cut back on those stick infractions. Really liking Rickwood so far. Great portal pickup from the looks of it. Menghini showing some speed at times.
  7. Went back to watch again. Yeah...that was def a bit awkward. Like running into an ex-gf unexpectedly.
  8. There it was. Finally! Was hoping we'd see some more glimpses from Zellers and Reschny, but both pretty quiet. Verhoeff looks good though. So does Zakreski and Kernan.
  9. I'm pondering too. Trying to talk the wife into taking a little fun trip...with some hockey. Been a long time since our last shot. Stuck at 29 for awhile. Not our best period, for sure.
  10. Both UMD and Miami with 3-0 starts. NCHC league play is gonna be interesting...
  11. Easily our best line tonight. Notice that Dane is putting them out there after any sustained STU pressure? He knows that they'll swing the momentum back.
  12. Miami had 3 wins all of last season. They now have 3 wins in only...3 games...this season. Impressive start for them.
  13. +1 for sure Rickwood is 6-1 on faceoffs so far. Dominating.
  14. Yeah that Reschny one was poor, but then he hustled back and battled to get the puck back before it did any damage. Perron and OMac never tried to get the puck back after they'd pull those moves.
  15. SCSU up 3-1 over BSU WMU stomping FSU 6-2
  16. Looks like it was Zakreski with the great backcheck to keep it in the zone. NICE!
  17. Great backcheck to keep it in the zone to create that goal.
  18. The sooner the better IMO. Their trap game is just not entertaining to watch at all.
  19. Wiebusch scores YET again. 2-1 Clarkson now.
  20. That result surprises me. QU looked decent and Alaska looked bad last weekend.
  21. Or it might be that.
  22. Clarkson proving to be a potentially decent upcoming opponent.
  23. Day to day from the sounds of it. We have the luxury of having 7 very capable dmen to be in the lineup in case of an injury. hopefully he can be back in the lineup soon.
  24. For the most part I think UND does a good job of mixing the OOC schedule with tough opponents and a couple non-blue blood programs. I’d rather not play BSU every year but I understand the rationale for them scheduling them. I’m glad that UND doesn’t schedule majority cupcakes (PSU comes to mind), but you also can’t schedule nothing but traditional top 15 teams, as you run the risk of having a rough NC record and missing the tourney. I also like that UND seems to like to schedule some destination games for the fans and players.
  25. Plenty of chances tonight for the league to turn it around: UND vs STU Notre Dame vs ASU Bentley vs CC FSU vs WMU rematch RPI vs Miami (can Miami start 3-0??) Air Force vs DU Augie vs UMD MSUM vs UNO BSU vs SCSU Also will be interesting to see how the UNH/MSU & PSU/Clarkson rematches go, as well as Michigan/Prov. Busy night for college hockey!
