He's not going to UMD at all. He didn't pass some sort of academic standard, so he was going to have to wait another year before getting into UMD. So he just signed with a major junior team instead.

I remember reading a scouting report posted somewhere about Kessel that alluded to what you are saying. He doesn't really like the physical stuff (most finesse players don't) and sometimes the opposition was successful in getting into young Mr Kessel's head and rattling his game. That said, Prpich will have to be on his toes if he hopes to contain Kessel for a whole game.

He must be a really promising player as well to be a potential #1 pick in the WHL draft. Hopefully the family enjoys having Jonathan play close to their home and David chooses to follow his older brother to UND. They could play together for a season or two (depending on if/when he leaves early). Does anyone have any info about David?
