  1. Huge goal for the Sioux. Win the 3rd, win the game...
  2. The webcast finally works for me. Maybe it will hold on long enough for me to see replays of the goals...
  3. And I like that 4th line of Kozek/Mario/Trupp. Trupp the playmaker, Kozek the sniper, Mario the grinder.
  4. Good to see Evan in the lineup...hopefully he's fully healed up and doesn't reinjure his shoulder/arm. It will be interesting to see how UND matches up against that big CC line of Lampl/Rau/Walsky.
  5. DU is keeping the pressure on, so the Sioux have to respond now against CC tomorrow afternoon. I really hope that SCSU can take a point or two from DU tomorrow night, but DU was clearly the better team tonight, so that will prove difficult. UW is tanking hard. Hopefully they can play like that when the Sioux come to Madison.
  6. Nice!! Way to go, SCSU. Can't even get one stinking point?
  7. Agreed. SCSU can't maintain control in the offensive zone for long at all. No prolonged pressure...
  8. UMN would have to win their 1st round series before they could reach the play-in game.
  9. Stupid DU. Tie game.
  10. I'll take that tie. It's looking more and more like UMN might have to win the F5 to get into the NCAA's...
  11. Nice! That helps us too. Sioux are getting a bit of help from other teams tonight. Go SCSU and UMD!!
  12. Wow, UMD is completely dominating UMN right now. The Gophers can't even gain possession of the puck. Go Huskies!!
  13. Impressive. And a goal at the buzzer!
  14. UMD got hosed on that tying goal. That should have been a penalty on UMN right in front. DU/SCSU game is on now too. There are about 2k people at Magness...nice crowd support.
  15. UMN has a tying goal disallowed due to a high stick.
  16. I know we're "supposed" to be cheering for UMN due to PWR implications, but can we really cheer for the Gophers??
  17. Nice. Go BU, go OSU, SCSU, etc...
  18. Were you the one in the Team Canada jersey?
  19. Solid passing, good goaltending, decent speed. A couple defensive breakdowns led to UMN breakaways or excellent chances, but they are a solid team. Stalock made 3-4 saves that kept it a 1-1 game. I'm not sure what they were doing for awhile, but at the beginning of the period they were pretty aggressive offensively, and then toward the end of the period they had 4 skaters back at times.
  20. Yale 3 Cornell 0 after 2 UMD 1 UMN 1 after 1 UW 0 MSUM 0 1st VT 2 Maine 2 3rd OSU 3 Miami 2 2nd UNH 4 Mack 1 3rd Mich 5 FSU 1 3rd UMass 3 BU 1 2nd
  21. Oops, now 4-0 ND with the 1st almost done.
  22. Notre Dame already leading MSU 2-0 in the 1st.
  23. You have to think that Olsen would have gotten immediate playing time regardless of where he chose to go. Even if he would have come to UND, he's probably at a level where another recruit would have been pushed back a year, or another dman would have been in the stands each game. Like you said though, that could have led to someone backing out of a commitment, and that's never good. We don't want to be like UW. I agree with you that it's probably better that he didn't choose UND due to the logjam that would have developed from that. At least he chose a WCHA school so we can still watch him play regularly...and I'm glad he chose UMD over schools like UMN, DU, or UW. Exactly. Forbort is a player that I am really excited to see in a Sioux uni. He's going to be a good one...
  24. Settle down everyone. There is no need to resort to name-calling here.
