  1. Sioux are really doing well on the PK, not giving up many sog.
  2. I've been trying to catch that as well.
  3. Sioux PK is doing very well so far, they have held DU to 0 sog in 3 PP.
  4. SCSU wins 6-1 over MTU. MSUM leads UW 6-3 in the 3rd. CC wins 5-0 over UMD.
  5. That shouldn't have even been a 5min, so if it is a DQ, that's a complete horsecrap call.
  6. I might have to save some of them for tomorrow night. Hopefully the Sioux can keep this up for the next 2 periods. They are getting lots of chances here.
  7. What a shot!!! Oshie!! 3-0. UND came to play tonight!
  8. Another goal there would have been sweet. In other scores, MSUM leads UW, 5-3!
  9. NMU beats OSU 4-1 tonight. That helps the Sioux.
  10. That would be sweet. With the success of road teams lately in the WCHA, I wouldn't be surprised with an upset or two in the first round. But the Sioux have to take care of business first before we can worry about that. We need at least a split against DU and a sweep over Tech.
  11. I get the FCS Central channel. They are showing the UND/DU game live tonight, but they are showing a tape-delayed UW/MSUM game tomorrow night according to my tv listings.
  12. Yeah, then the Sioux would be ok. Perhaps we shouldn't bank on them winning 3 games in 3 days against some tough teams though. (although I would love to see it!)
  13. Looks like we have a lot of teams to root for and against.
  14. Ohio State has a crucial series this weekend with Northern Michigan. If OSU loses even one game, they stand a good chance at falling quite a few spots in the PWR (and falling below .500 on the year). OSU is currently at 13th in the PWR. St Lawrence and Harvard have a critical game as well. SLU is at 14, Harvard at 12 in the PWR. The loser of that game will fall in the PWR. Being that OSU, SLU, and Harvard are all directly in front of the Sioux in the PWR, they could move up a few spots just from the outcomes of those games. They need to take care of business against DU though first and foremost. The Sioux are not sunk. They are within 2 PWR spots of making it right now, and there is still a maximum of 10 Sioux games remaining (before the NCAA tourney), so lots can/will change.
  15. An article about Fargo South, talks about Galt and Weisgarber a little: http://www.grandforks.com/mld/grandforks/13938462.htm
  16. I would prefer 90min. Gives enough time for warming up, playing a game, and maybe a shoot-out or something for fun afterwards...
  17. Agreed. I wouldn't mind a little payback for those 2 losses at the Ralph with the flukey goals. And I'm sure the players feel the same way.
  18. If the Sioux are a #4 seed, neither UMN or UW could play at the REA (if they are both still #1 seeds come tourney selection time).
  19. That would be a tough regional for the Sioux with 3 very good other teams there. Getting past BC would be hard enough, but then to face the UMN/BSU winner... And I agree, any tourney projection with the Sioux in it is a good tourney prediction in my book. Just get in, then all it takes is four wins!
  20. Better throw that one away, looks to have lost its magic touch. I'd love to see another local player on the Sioux as well; Mihulka would probably be a good player for the Sioux after a year in the USHL.
