  1. BC suffers a loss before the season even begins: http://www.uscho.com/news/college-hockey/i...jorJuniors.html
  2. +1
  3. The Gopher boys must really be peppering him good in practice. Yeah, he's good to go.
  4. I thought you didn't want to look at past results?
  5. I think he'll be fine. He hit two posts on the weekend, he just needs to shoot a couple cm over a bit. One thing that I took from the Merrimack series is how impressive our freshmen class is playing. None of them looked out of place out there, and many of them excelled beyond what I was expecting. That's a great sign for this season if they can keep that up.
  6. Let's keep the inflammatory remarks to a minimum... That said, I wouldn't blame all of last year's goals solely on the defense. I watched quite a few Gopher games on TV, and Kangas was a headcase after the UND series...playing no where near how he did as a frosh. Lucia has even said that he should have given Patterson a chance much earlier than what he did. So which Kangas shows up this year? That would be my worry if I were a Gopher fan.
  7. That surprises me too. I would have thought Hakstol would go with Dell tonight and then start Eidsness both games against the Gophers.
  8. Merrimack switching it up though in net. Interesting.
  9. The tape-to-tape, no look pass from Trupp was also quite nice on that one.
  10. DU gets within one as Donovan scores. Not going to lie, those are hideous jerseys that DU is wearing.
  11. DU better wake up soon, otherwise their undefeated season will go down the drain.
  12. I think Toews' lineup spot is secured for a bit.
  13. I hate the Yankees, especially A-Roid. It's too bad, as I doubt the Twins will be able to recover from a two game deficit.
  14. He was talking about the UND football game.
  15. Gleason...smooth skater, reminds me of Genoway.
  16. Exactly. Keep the pressure on.
  17. Is it possible to fire Hakstol during the intermission?
  18. Both of them played very well last weekend against Manitoba IMO. If they can keep that up and limit the rookie mistakes, I bet Hakstol could keep them together.

  20. Just saw that as well. Oh well. I wonder if we see a goalie rotation this weekend? I would guess that Eidsness will start both games against UMN next weekend simply due to the experience factor, so I wonder if Hakstol will put Dell in for one of the Merrimack games to give him some playing time.
  21. Has anyone heard if he will be able to play this weekend? He's their "stud" USHL recruit that supposedly hasn't passed the NCAA Clearinghouse yet.
  22. I'd give it to Blood. Looks like a completely different player compared to last year. Very poised, and moved the puck well. Hopefully he can keep that up as the season progresses.
  23. Great work along the boards by VV to get that puck to Kristo.
  24. Yeah, Kristo definitely has some speed...
