  1. Fudge! We need his one-time ability back on the PP. Our PP has been horrible lately.
  2. I'm game to play in this again. Thanks for putting it together again. Would be cool to get the PB gang involved as well... With three groups, we could do sticks in the middle.
  3. You're forgetting the fact that if you even touch Roe, he'll fall to the ice like his hero Robbie Earl. I'm all for the refs calling some diving penalties on Roe this weekend...
  4. Are Kyle and Curt twins? That would be crazy if the Gophers aren't going after them at all. Go get 'em Coach Hakstol!!
  5. If 6 WCHA teams make it (definite possibility), the NCAA committee is going to have to make some tough decisions about where to put them and who to pair them up against. Right now we have: 2 DU 3 UW 4 SCSU 7 CC 9 UMD 10 UND If the season ended today the WCHA would have 3 #1 seeds, a #2 seed, and 2 #3 seeds.
  6. Thumbs up.
  7. Agreed. I wasn't sure where she was going with that, as that's not what I saw either. Perhaps she is listening to Sloe Gin's rants too much? I think this part of her quote says it all: How long were these snippets?
  8. Does anyone know if Rau is even considering UND? Or will he end up at CC like his brother or a MN school?
  9. Thanks, as always, Jim. It would be nice to end the bye week around 11th in PWR...and not near 19th.
  10. "Where have you gone Chay Genoway, our Sioux team turns it's lonely eyes to you."
  11. If the game were played with today's rules, the 87 team would spend about 3/4 of the game in the penalty box. Of course, they were talented enough that they would probably still make a game of it.
  12. ?
  13. Well, she was formerly married to a Sioux hockey player, so she knows her way around a rink.
  14. He is a Mavericks fan. Enough said. IMO the guy just wants to drum up attention for his blog, which can provide good information at times, but more often than not loses credibility when he attempts to slam certain players/coaches/teams. He has an obvious dislike for some programs, and his writing certainly doesn't hide that fact. That would be my guess as to why he hasn't progressed past "blog level" in the writing hierarchy world.
  15. I feel like I'm visiting my aunt with all these questions.
  16. Need some cheese to go with that?
  17. Wed update from Brad:
  18. We'll probably know later today after the Wed media day update from Brad. If Hextall or Knight are even close to playing this weekend, then I'm guessing that they would be practicing already, so Brad would let us know.
  19. Maybe we still can! Go work your magic, Hakstol!
  20. Ha! I'm still writing 2009 on the one check I have to write a month.
  21. MJ also doesn't require the player to go to "school" and "classes", although most MJ teams will offer a scholarship program if the player is interested in that. Makes sense for a player that doesn't want to be burdened with learning.
  22. Wow, that would be huge if true! Both Hextall and Knight were ramping up their play when their injuries happened. I wonder if Hextall worked extra hard to get back in time specifically for this series...he does love Gwoz. I'm guessing we're reaching that point very soon about Chay's season...if he doesn't come back by the SCSU series (after the bye week), I would bet he is done for the year. Then we can just hope that he recovers fully and applies for the medical hardship.
  23. And there's your answer. Grimaldi would have been a huge get for any NCAA school, but most things I've read had him going the MJ route.
  24. Chambers is just mad that Denver didn't go undefeated this season like he predicted.
