UW dumpster fire continues. Junior forward Sean Dhooghe has entered the NCAA transfer portal. He's a super small (5'3") but fun player to watch. C'mon Berry, bring home another transfer portal player to help for next season!

We were just talking about this at work yesterday. We thought the same thing. In late January something went around the shop that took each of us out for a couple days. One of the guys couldn't stop coughing. Another one had difficulty breathing and had to go to urgent care. We're convinced that like 4-5 of us have already had corona and recovered from it.

Sounds like Perunovich from Duluth close to signing. And Caufield from UW leaning towards staying another year.

I was there as well. Also getting trash talked by many UW fans when we were down 2-0 in the 3rd. Can still hear that Duncan pipe shot goal that tied it after the beauty of a pass from Oshie...that pipe rang loud and then in. High fived and hugged so many random UND fans while walking the concourse after that game.

I agree about putting a plaque or something like that in the lobby or in the concourse instead of a banner from the rafters. The plaque could briefly talk about how great this team was in the history of UND teams, and how they (and every other NCAA hockey team) was robbed of the chance to go for the national title.

Returning a very strong goaltending duo plus the Hobey Baker winner is a good start.

K'Andre Miller from UW is now gone as well. He was a soph.

There’s always next season for that.

Current UND fans will remember, yes. But what about new fans or young fans or future students?

Postpone makes perfect sense rather than cancel like they did. Postpone it for a month or so and see where we’re at. If we’re still knee deep in corona hysteria, then cancel. If not, get those tourneys rolling at campus venues or wherever. To just not have a champion after 9/10 of the season is played out is crazy.

While I certainly feel for our seniors and seniors on other teams, that would create more problems. Much like all the over-reaction to corona hype will cause more issues than the actual virus.

It’s not an opinion, it’s fact. There are people that haven’t gotten tested or won’t get tested but still have it. The true number of cases will always exceed the reported cases.

You’re assuming that the reported cases is equal to the number of true cases though. The number of true cases is much higher.

The season that these boys just had was special indeed. Seasons like this one don't come around often. Would they have won the national title...who knows, but they were certainly one of the frontrunners. Really have to feel for the players, especially the seniors. Great season, team.
