  2. And the bracket is set: https://www.ncaa.com/brackets/icehockey-men/d1/2023?fbclid=IwAR1b_-Q2q3qWCiirQ6WRAm7O6EmcnsmJ7VxIDZgwFH_s8OQA7jeLTVVLvZo
  3. I'll say... If 15 comes back, we're top 10 in PWR. If 15 doesn't come back, we're a bubble team but I still bet we'd make the NCAAs.
  4. It’s no question that there have been some recent recruiting misses on some big time recruits. Morrow, Halliday, and Rizzo should all have been at UND and the skill level would be noticeably higher (last year and this year) with the three of them wearing green and white. And then the near miss on Cooley as well. If even two of those four make it to campus, we’re looking much better the last couple seasons.
  5. Agreed. On-campus sites is the future IMO.
  6. Maybe all the FB buds can buy Canisius jerseys after next week. Do you believe in miracles, yes!

  8. I'd take him back in a heartbeat. He has skill. Just wasn't his year, I guess. Or something was up. Who knows.
  9. The big computer is calculating the final numbers. Carry the one. Crap...doesn't look like it.
  10. And with that SCSU win, the field is set for this year's NCAA tourney.
  11. Haha, you beat me by a minute.
  12. And that's the crazy thing too...the players that you'd expect Matteo would have beaten out for playing time like Ness & Albrecht...both those guys had double the points as Matteo in the same amount of games. And you know they were getting bottom 6 minutes as well. Either 18 was incredibly snake-bitten or he just didn't have it this year.
  13. Yep. That was my thought after CC beat DU yesterday. CC was playing their biggest rival and DU was already locked into their seed. I'm guessing if we had pulled it out yesterday, we'd be stamping our NCAA ticket right about now against CC.
  14. Wow, good for the toothpaste school. They took down a couple ECAC top teams to do it, too.
  15. Company? Matteo is such a head-scratcher to me. Such a great, promising freshman season for him...but then to go from 21 pts down to only 3 pts as a sophomore. And he still played 25 games this season.
  16. Gonna be tight for them...they're at 12 now, but could fall if they lose...plus there could be a couple upsets in the making at the same time.
  17. Same result though. A season-ending loss followed by a “Fire Coach X” thread started on here. Except one year, of course.
  18. I wondered that too. They're both from Quebec, but I couldn't find any mention on Elite Prospects or similar where they normally list siblings or family. That Boisvert goalie from SLU has literally played ONE game each of the last three seasons. Grand total of 3 games in 3 years. Geez, talk about well-rested.
  19. 22 needs to be Top 6, absolutely.
  20. I agree with Schloss that our forward group has the chance to be elite next season. It will be a deep and talented group. My only HOPE is that Berry lets them play in a more wide-open system. We'll have the ability to play and BEAT teams next season playing a more run-n-gun style. Will it mean that we'll also allow more goals...of course, but we probably will anyway with a new goalie and almost entirely new and young d-corps. I was never a "hater" of Senden and Hain like some on this group, but I do agree that they gobbled up valuable minutes and had a slower, more grinding style of play. I think we're a stronger team next year, especially on the front end. We'll have the depth to have almost 3 scoring lines and one grinding/shut-down line. Berry just needs to utilize them effectively rather than give the shut-down line the majority of the minutes.
  21. The fact that she got offended by a chant of "Oma-fraud" is funny to me.
  22. Yeah I remember him from his Miami days. He didn't play a ton and had not great numbers on some poor teams. His numbers improved at ASU and were pretty decent this year in very limited games though.
