Agreed. Most of the top teams will be using a combo of recruits + portal moving forward, IMO. We've had good luck with the portal too...guys like Sidorski, Jandric, Driscoll, Michaud, Jones, etc all ended up being great players for us.

I agree for the most part. If anyone comes back, I think it needs to be only for impact players. For example...getting Frisch back would be an enormous plus for our backend next season. And, I think we're a better team next season if Caulfield returns too. Rather than pickup two portal goalies, I'd like to see Hedquist come to campus and one portal goalie...have those two rotate until one moves into the #1 spot.

I’d guess a Lindenwood win this weekend would kill any hopes of an Alaska at large bid.

I'm glad that they won in OT, but UNO shouldn't have even gotten one point tonight. This team needed to learn to clamp down on an opponent in the 3rd period months ago and it cost them a postseason.

James has played in 30 of 33 games this season and has been a mainstay on the PK for much of the season. He has definitely gotten his fair share of ice time IMO. Now, if we were talking about Strinden, or Bast, or Kunz, or Johnson...those guys I would agree maybe needed a bit more ice time to prepare for their expanded roles next season.
