Time to ramp it up. Tough regional, but it is what the boys got after their recent poor play against CC/UNO. If the boys advance out of this regional, they'll have earned it.

https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-to-play-michigan-in-first-round-of-ncaa-tournament Dang, 35% PP. Stay out of the box is an understatement.

He just got done reading all the meanie comments on here in the UNO Frozen Faceoff thread.

With how the brackets are laid out, it looks like MSU regional plays BC regional in F4 semi-final. So, if by some miracle UND plays amazing and gets thru the GLI regional, they get BC regional winner in first game of F4. Ouch, that's a hell of a gauntlet that they played themselves into. Best of luck, boys...best of luck.

That BU regional is a tough one to call. A UNO team that's been playing amazing except against DU...a Minny team that won't have played in weeks...a BU team that just got curb-stomped by their biggest rival. DU gets rewarded for their 1 seed by being sent to Mass to play host UMass. A Maine team that was red-hot early and has cooled off greatly.
-
Yeah, agreed. Can the UND team that played DU please show up?
-
GLI here we come. Time to take them down like the UND Beanpot win quite a few regionals ago.
-
Their forward top end talent is absurd. We'll have to cross our fingers that a couple of those boys turn pro.
-
That's weird, both those fanbases are known for traveling well.

He signed a pro contract, he didn't enter the portal. He's gone!

Perfect time for Pehrson to score his first goal of the season. Against his old team.
-
Schloss' guess: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/what-to-know-as-und-awaits-its-regional-placement That's a lot of Michigan teams in that UND regional.
-
Lot of titles stacked up in that regional.
-
An Eastern blowhard that thinks that regionals should forever stay neutral, as it benefits eastern schools most.
-
Here's Wodon's guess: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2024/03/23_Bracket-ABCs-Final-Bracket.php

This is straight bracket with no movement or regard to regional location. 1 BC - 16 MTU 8 UW - 12 Cornell 2 BU - 15 RIT 7 UMN - 11 UNO 3 DU - 14 UMass 6 UND - 10 UM 4 MSU - 13 WMU 5 Maine - 9 QU

Is there a 4th option? One has a stick up his ars, the other is past his prime, and the other can only win titles with other coaches recruits.
-
DU vs UNO a preview to a potential regional final next weekend?
-
35-16 SOG for DU DU came to play.
-
Hate to root for DU, but glad to see UNO lose. Not a fan of their program or fans (mainly their social media fans).
-
On the plus side, our record against NCAA tourney teams just improved dramatically.
-
DU 4-1

Correct. Gaber could return if he wanted.
