I've got Blake down for winning it his JR year.
-
Opens the door for Cooley to win the Hobey this upcoming season. Unless another freshman forward, Celebrini, goes for back to back freshman Hobey winners.

WHL team from Portland.

Wonder what drew him to WMU...you'd have to think that the UND coaches were in on a kid who grew up in Minot. Even if he'd been playing at SSM for the last four seasons. Sucks to lose out on those really talented "local" players.

Canes are fully loaded on UND players and recruits. Sens and Canes both love their UND.

Yeah for sure it isn't as common. Lately it seems like more of the one and done players have been undrafted rather than high draft picks. Like McAllister from WMU this season.
-
Blackhawks get both Bedard and Oliver Moore in 1st round. Two very good future forwards for them.
-
Both BC and BU will be improved this season with their ridiculous incoming recruit classes, but a good portion of those guys might be one and done. There will be some talented teams in NCAA this year. Let's hope that UND has the right mix of experienced upperclassmen and stud recruits to make a run.
-
Dang, Carlsson at #2.
-
Shocker at pick #1!
-
Haha exactly. Hopefully they're all one-season wonders. That's another question...is Fantilli gonna be signed by Anaheim (assuming he goes #2) shortly, or will he have another go of it at Michigan?
-
That whole line of BC incoming forward recruits could all go in the top 15-20 picks. Pretty impressive recruiting class for them this year.

I'm excited to see what he can do starting this fall (and future years at UND). I see his playing style compared to Blake quite a bit. If his production is even remotely close to what Blake did as a freshmen, that'll be a huge help offensively to this team. I've read many mentions of Perron's shot and one-timer ability, which would be great on the PP. Blake is awesome, but he doesn't have the best one-timer (yet), so that would be another dimension to the PP if Perron can fill that void (I'm thinking alone the lines of Pinto). Having guys like Gaber, Blake, OMac, Perron, etc...could make for an awesome PP1/PP2 combo to throw out there.
