CC has as much trouble with DU as UND does with CC.

Kind of surprising to see Michael Emerson's stats being not as strong as last year once he left UND to head back to the USHL. I thought with him being a year older than he'd put up some big numbers and then transfer to another school. He's not doing poorly...just not as well as he did the season before he came to UND. 22/23 - 1.07 pts/gm 23/24 (so far) - 0.81 pts/gm

He's probably just waiting to score that first goal until we play Michigan in the NCAA's.

We’ll really be old when we’re watching Jacob Blake, Jackson’s son, lighting it up at UND in a few years.

Another nice advantage of 1st is that UND will have last line change throughout the NCHC playoffs. That'll be big if we have to play DU again with their tough top line.

The two NCHC teams that Mich jumped both needed to lose tonight for us to raise the Penna. So I'll take that, but agree that hopefully Michigan moves out of the tourney in these last couple weeks.

Hopefully the team stays motivated next weekend against UNO…still tourney seeding to think about. Great year to finish first though, playing Miami in the first round is far preferred.

Hockey is so weird. After completely crushing UND in two straight games, CC only has 2 total points in their last 3 games (one loss and two shootout losses) against UNO and UMD, two teams below them in the standings.

That doesn’t sound like a UMD player at all.
