  1. Goal by UMass in the last minute!
  2. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/ludvig-persson-thriving-at-und-as-showdown-against-old-team-awaits
  3. Worked for me. The only difference that I saw was that your web address began with x.com, where mine that embeded began with twitter.com.
  4. Three UND recruits made the roster for the World Junior A challenge in December. Strathmann, Swanson, and Heil made the team. Former UND player Matt Smaby is the head coach this year. https://teamusa.usahockey.com/news_article/show/1291484
  5. I could watch this hit from Osh over and over.
  6. Schmaltz will be out for this weekend against Miami...I take it there was no review of the hit that injured him by the UMD player, as I'm guessing we would have heard about it by now. Miami is missing a whole line of forwards and their backup goalie...all injured. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/key-forwards-expected-to-miss-series-for-miami-und
  7. So many writers and polls had Merrimack pretty high up on the rankings in the preseason. They've had a rough start to the season and haven't really had the toughest schedule to this point either.
  8. Emery and Laurila sign their NLI's as well:
  9. Skahan flips from UW to BC, as was earlier speculated:
  10. Agreed.
  11. There's a ton of people and hockey players that are commenting that it was an accident and not intentional. But I just don't see how his leg would move like that and get that high...it certainly looks like a "kicking motion" to me. Unless there is another angle that shows otherwise. But something tells me if there is another angle...then he wouldn't be charged with manslaughter right now. Tough situation all around.
  12. Yes for sure. The Friday night game was a 7-1 UND blowout win. Then a 4-3 loss the next night despite outshooting them 36-16. Great night for Persson, not the best for DeRidder. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/box/final/20221119/mia/ndk/
  13. Dang that's a lot of minutes for a freshman dman...great to see that he's adapted so quickly:

  15. Regrettable?
  16. Yeah he put up a good number of points...5th in elite league in scoring despite playing 2 less games than all the players above him. He should have a good season for Minnetonka!
  17. 18. Haha, first thing I thought of as well when I saw burd's post. Nothing wrong with a GroundHog Day reference.
  19. A few on here have been requesting Perron on the top PP unit...they moved him up there last night with success: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/unds-new-look-power-play-is-sharp-in-win-over-minnesota-duluth Agreed with the earlier post about Livanavage having difficulty holding the blue line a couple times while on the PP, but he'll get comfortable back there and do very well. You can already see his skill coming thru...he's going to be an impact player for sure at the collegiate level as he gets older.
  20. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-finishes-sweep-of-minnesota-duluth-with-2-0-victory Schloss says that UND hit four posts tonight. Update on Schmaltz's injury. Hopefully he's good to go for Miami next weekend.
  21. And...cue the upcoming next two series against Miami and BSU at home. Four games that need to be won.
  22. Pretty impressive after falling behind 3-0 on the road. ASU is such a different team depending on road vs away. That'll help them this year but they'll need to change that starting next season and if they ever want to have postseason success.
  23. Ha, hopefully the major is the main subject of his article. It's certainly the only reason that they lost.
