I’d bet Karl gets it. Dane has been around forever but he’s almost the same age as Berry.

Are you saying that tonight was a “big game”?
-
I'm certainly not defending UNO at all, but they've been playing their best hockey of the year lately. They've only lost one game in their last 11 games. Swept SCSU, UMD, CC (a team that swept us), and Miami that time. Their only loss was against WMU.
-
Even if DU jumps us tonight with a win, there's still plenty of time for movement, especially depending on who they might play in the Frozen Faceoff if they get past Miami. As we all mentioned this week leading up to this series...UNO had a LOT more to play for. I understand that UND needed to be playing for PWR seeding, but UNO was playing to continue their season. If they got swept this weekend, their only route into the tourney would have been winning the NCHC. That said, hopefully the boys come out with a bit more fire tomorrow and at least get the split.
-
They're just staying in Omaha? I'd think they'd want to fly back before the Miami series next weekend.
-
Now 1-1 CC/DU Laba scores one to tie Berg for the NCHC lead.
-
16sec into the game. Cmon CC.
-
Only if it's a 5x3.
-
They seem to be similar to ASU...such a dominant team at home, but struggle much more when playing away from Alfond. That won't help them come tourney time.
-
1-1 11-8 SOG UNO Some good UND chances but UNO had some spurts of great chances in tight, for sure.
-
Berg > Costantini Matteo could take some pointers on how to score against his old team.
-
Not at all. Just tiring to resort to the same statements every time we fall behind or lose.
-
Give it a rest man.
-
The main issue with the UNO games is that this is their Super Bowl, much like how the CC players seemed to be treating the UND series earlier this year. We'll always get their best games.
-
Hoping that Berg scores to win the NCHC goal scoring title. Hoping that Blake gets some points to break the NCHC scoring record. And hoping that Gaber gets a few points to pass Guch and Cags on the all-time UND scoring list. Oh yeah, and a win.
-
You had it written as 'UND @ UND' like we were playing against ourselves.
-
Corrected.

With the final result showing a 5-1 UND win, it looks like that game was on Jan 1st, 1958 at The Barn. UND would get it's first NCAA tourney appearance later that same year (as a member of the WIHL), where they faced that same Harvard team in the semi-final...this time beating them 9-1 to advance to the national title game. They unfortunately lost that title game to DU (Denver's first NCAA title) though. UND would win it's first NCAA title the following year in 1959, this time playing as an Independent though and beating Michigan State in OT. https://fightinghawks.com/sports/mens-ice-hockey/opponent-history/harvard-university/71

Gaber listed as one of the top undrafted college players: https://www.flohockey.tv/articles/12212785-top-undrafted-college-free-agents-for-the-nhl-collin-graf-tops-list?utm_medium=socialmedia&utm_source=facebook&utm_term=thumbnail.top-undrafted-college-free-agents-for-the-nhl-collin-graf-tops-list&utm_content=article&utm_campaign=aha&contract_id=0061n00000vcyv4qan&fbclid=IwAR3aCxU8W4y99UfM4XpOrmDAiXWUC6QzBrOji97MP9kTzSqdDMR6RegYQFI -
Looks like Stew was a bit off with his "when UND calls everything goes out the window" comment. Boser to ASU, announced today.

Yeah he’s currently tied with Boeser and Brink. -
New USCHO Bracketology is out: https://www.uscho.com/2024/03/06/bracketology-getting-closer-to-seasons-end-the-umass-conundrum-is-solved-but-other-issues-lie-ahead-in-seeding-the-ncaa-field/ UMass moving up to a #3 seed solves the issue of swapping #1 seeds around to place them in their host spot. Providence Regional 1. Boston College 2. Quinnipiac 3. Maine 4. Bemidji State (or CCHA champion) Springfield, Mass. Regional 1. Boston University 2. Minnesota 3. Massachusetts (regional host) 4. St. Cloud State Sioux Falls, S.D. Regional 1. North Dakota 2. Michigan State 3. Colorado College 4. RIT (or AHA champion) Maryland Heights, Mo. Regional 1. Denver 2. Wisconsin 3. Providence 4. Michigan I'd take that bracket as a UND fan.

UNO has only been swept once all season (against DU)...I'd love to see it as well, but wouldn't be surprised if we drop some points, especially coming the week after the Penrose clinch.
-
They mentioned during the game and during the postgame that if it would have been a more important game, he would have been playing. I'm not surprised that he's sitting against UNO (and maybe Miami as well), but I'd hope that he'd be back playing his regular shift by Frozen Faceoff (assuming the boys take out Miami, of course).
