Boisvert would have been excellent for a more prominent finisher role next season, but I sure like the pieces that Chyz has put together as a replacement for Boisvert/OMac/Perron. Who scores more goals next season...Reschny or Zellers?

Fill that last forward spot with another blue chipper and this upcoming season looks like a real fun one. And agreed on Chyz. So many people were talking about what a great hire he would be for this type of role before Jax was hired. And man, he sure has done a lot in just a few weeks...pretty damn impressive. I was never really a "Berry hater", but I really don't think the roster would look anywhere near this good if he would have still been head coach.

Agreed. If they think Zmolek is back to 100% and the boys can remain mostly injury-free, then 8D (especially with the 8 we have) should be ok. Regarding McKenna...we'll know if UND is in the mix if they add another forward prior to him making his decision.

+1 Hope so. I can't see McKenna considering PSU, even if they throw a pile of Pegula money at him.

Hopefully less prone to injuries as well. I felt we got cheated out of watching so much of Sanderson during his time at UND. He was such a fun player to watch.

I think we see something like this: Livanavage - Wiebe Zmolek - Verhoeff Emery - Strathmann/Jubenvill/Laurila Yes, 1st round draft pick on the 3rd pairing. Yowzers. Zmolek with Verhoeff to let him get up to NCHC game speed and give him freedom, which means he'll make some rookie dman mistakes and Zmolek can cover. Going to be a battle for that 6th dman spot every weekend. I hope that Strath/Jub/Laurila don't get discouraged having to earn their ice time and still stick with the team for the 26/27 season, because I could see Liv/Wiebe/Emery (and maybe Zmolek) all depart after this upcoming season.

26/27 is looking to be a pretty darn good team too if Reschny and Verhoeff stick around for their Soph seasons plus add in McKamey, Williams, Heil, Lindberg, O'Neill/Schultz/Simpson...plus any other studs that Chyz decides to add.

Victoria is looking like a budding pipeline to UND. McKamey is playing in Victoria next season before coming to UND as well.

Ah nice, I was wondering if that was why you posted that pic of him a few days earlier. So they did exactly that. This coaching staff has been making all the right moves so far. Really hoping we see a changed product on the ice this fall from it!

That D-corps will be the best in the NCHC, probably one of the best in the NCAA.
