It is pretty interesting how it's shaken out so far. The good news is, a Sioux jersey wins no matter what. I am partial to some of the older sweaters as well and would have liked to have seen a couple greens in the mix, particularly the 1964-67 style. The 1986-87 white vs the 2006-07 swift are only separated by 12 votes. Voting ends Tuesday night at midnight, so get your votes in!

What I thought was interesting, and mentioned it right away on Saturday night before it got buried in the game thread, was both Wilcox and Gothberg had .927 save percentages going into the game. That being said, Wilcox is getting rave reviews while people weren't too pysched about Zane going into the weekend. The GAA for both was quite different in favor of Wilcox, which just goes to show that our defense isn't at the same level as Minnesota's. Yeah, Wilcox has seen a lot more action, but if Gothberg had seen more play to this point, who knows how his development would have continued throughout the course of the year. Zane has some pretty nice accomplishments as an incoming goalie and I wouldn't mind seeing him a lot more down the stretch. I do still have confidence in Clarke. There's a lot of season left and he's done some good things so far. I'm not going to grade his entire year on a couple off weekends.

Tech is a team I wouldn't want to play either. Their record is what it is, but Pearson seems to get the most out of them in big games.

Thanks! Your photo isn't showing up, but yeah, because red and blue looked so similar on black and white TV's, most teams decided to put some sort of pattern in the red stripe. That way, when the two grays looked similar, the pattern made the center stripe stand out. I haven't seen a design that incorporates some sort of image from the Sioux, but they do use different patterns...usually just switching up the way the white blocks are within the stripe. I think a lot of it has to do with not having a great choice for a logo or icon to use. The Geometric logo would have worked nice, and I suppose the ND would as well. Personally, I prefer just the simple blocks for the Sioux. I do like some teams' designs though. I have a lot of research to do in this department as this is something that I've just started. If anyone has any good pics of the ice throughout the years, I'd love to see 'em.

Started something new that has been kind of fun. It's not really jersey related, but I want to add them to Sioux-Jersey.com as I make them. As you can see it's an exact replica of the ice design at the Ralph, this one being the 2011-12 season. Is it something you'd like to see more of?

I agree. NBC is killing it for all the sports they cover in my opinion, whether it's college hockey or the NFL.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the "Screaming Indian" Braves logo will likely not be coming back. There were plans to have it on the BP caps this year, but Atlanta is considering caving into the public outcry against the logo.

I don't disagree on many things, but this is one. I wouldn't mind if the team picked two home games to wear dark, though, so the fans that aren't able to travel can at least see the other uni's in action. One day would be a green night, the other a black night.

It's hard to say for sure without having an actual game-worn to measure. Different styles of jerseys had different sized numbers so it's all a guessing game. What I'd try is making some paper numbers of different sizes and setting them on your sweater and see how it looks in comparison to a photo of the jersey you are trying to replicate and pick the size you feel looks best. Depending on what jersey you are trying to get numbered, the jersey itself will may make the numbers look bigger/smaller in comparison to the cut of the jerseys way back when. I doubt Gregoire will, barring unforeseen circumstances. I definitely think Nelson gets a look. I like the Preds/Hawks. Hawks for obvious reasons...and they were the closest NHL team to my hometown. Growing up near the Milwaukee Admirals is why I like the Predators. Milwaukee is their farm team.
