My prediction put UND at a T5 with Michigan... I'll take a 2 seed...don't matter at this point in the year because the Nat'l Champion is always a team with momentum, and at some point you have to start playing good teams anyways. So either way, you might get one...maybe two...games that are marginally eaiser.

Kinda hits ya when you realize that today might be, and probably will be, the last time we ever see the Duncan-Oshie-Toews line ever again at The Ralph. Enjoy the moment tonight. Doubtful you'll ever see a line like this in the near future. Who knows, maybe they'll lay an egg and we'll get to see them tomorrow, or maybe they'll stay. But, let's be realistic.

Come Duncan's fourth and final year, I can't wait to hear the ovation he's going to get. What he's done in less than two complete years is just phenomenal for a guy his size and who wasn't highly touted originally.

For one, this should help Ryan's chances at a hobey. Two, Minnesota and Wisconsin are still probably the two best schools to go to in the conference if you're going for an education....especially Wisconsin.

BC has been really hot lately, kinda in the same boat as us. That'd be interesting if we met them in the playoffs again. As of right now, the two teams playing best are us and them.

It seems that many people here have maroon and gold blinders on....since that seems to be the only series that anyone compares anything to this year. One series does not matter, just look at the Maine series. Just because it was early on doesn't make it a part of this season. So when making a comparison, you should include more than just one series.

Last year he was attrocious...however, this year he really developed well. He was much better with the back, he's always very unselfish, and has decreased his turnovers greatly. Also, he's starting to use his size more, although isn't fully developed there. Assuming he stays for next year, I think he'll play a significant role in our success.

I don't see how this is a big deal. Look at who won 5 out of the past 6 National Championships...the WCHA. I think it's more of North Dakota's inability to adjust to it. Often times we get caught not moving our feet and we rely on this too much, often times more than other WCHA teams. We take too many stupid penalties (especially Lee). It's ok, I still think this year we get one closer to Michigan for most Nat'l Champs...

Anyone know what next years schedule is yet? If not, when do they put it out?

As painful as it is to say it, it wasn't that boring watching them come back on us during the Saturday night home game in December...which will forever go down as "Glow stick night" haha.

Ok, cool...I'm a student so I got the discount prices which is cool, it just sucks that all my friends will be home for spring break while I'm here.

You can argue for either team, Wisconsin has 6 Nat'l Champs, UND has 7... One difference, ok, big deal. UND is known as a young talented team every year, where many players are 1 or 2 year players. Hence the reason it always takes half a year to reload (see last year also). However, when the team gels midseason, watch out. That young talent gets cohesive and they start playing to their strongsuits. Wisconsin is more of a four year school it seems, where players come to play 3-4 years. (I think this is partly b/c no one is able to show off their offensive skills as frequently, making it seem smarter to stay an extra year or two sometimes). This gives you a great team every 3-4 years after those players have been playing together for a few years. You may not have great years inbetween, but when you do play well, things like Nat'l Championships happen (see last year). However, UND will always be strong and will see more Frozen Fours, but not necessarily have the experince to put them over the top. No matter how you look at it, I'm sure this is how it will turn out again. We'll stay strong, but look out for Wisconsin in a couple years again when their talented recruits are a cohesive team that knows each other inside and out. Kent, I respect your loyalty for Wisconsin hockey, but keep in mind where you are posting your comments and keep in mind that UND isn't exactly a slouch team...neither is Wisconsin, even on off years. Rivalries make the game great, but let's keep respect in the back of our minds as we have fun debating about each others teams.

Is it reserved seating (assigned seating), or is it a General Admission section for normal student sections. I ask because I have Section 108, Row A, sets 3, 4, and 11....I'll probably keep the one seat, but would like to sell seats 3 and 4, but would want to know if it's guaranteed front row seating before I tell people that it is. So...if anyone is interested, let me know!
