Agreed a year in the USHL would do him well. Compare him to Cichy and Kristo...does anyone feel he is more talented than either of those players who spent one (Kristo) and two (Cichy) years in the USHL? I sure don't.

I disagree I hate the Bahssston teams...what a fluke of a final goal. Miami choked worse than the Sioux. I was really rooting for Miami.

Not sure why you think Mattson will only be at UND one year?? Toews and Parise were two year players and Mattson is nowhere near that level. Last I saw he was projected as a 3rd round pick. The same round where Fienaghe was picked last year and he hardly saw the ice. Unless there is a need for an extra forward I think a year in the USHL would do Mattson well.

Jones as a "healthy scratch" many times?? You must not watch much Sioux hockey....I think he was a healthy scratch once or twice the whole year only to get Blood acclimated. Jones was a very steady dman and will be tough to replace

Pony and Frattin will need to step up next year as well as Trupp. I think Frattin ad a better year that Trupp. With Cichy, Kristo et all coming in next year I see another McNaughton cup as a real possibility

not sure why Brunetau would be fighting...that being said he and Fink have their work cut out to see time for the Sioux. I am guessing Fink will not be here next year where Brunetau may or may not be

I would love to see Forney come back and make good on his potential. Any fault on the coaches for bringing him in right out of high school? I am guessing not as the Goofs would have brought him in. He just wasn't ready for the WCHA and now he seems to be.

I would say a cake eater is a primma donna without any grit. Someone who has had a lot handed to them without working for it, kinda like an entitlement. A player like that will not play for the Fighting Sioux.

Anyone know anything about Forney's status for the upcoming year? I sure would like to see him in a Sioux uni next year...although I would rather that VandeVelde return
