Could be and I hope he makes it but I see Porter and Vandy as similar players. Porter is booged down in Peoria and I see the same thing for Vandy in Springfield. Kinda like Irmen in Houston. These guys are close but not quite NHL caliber players.

I don't see the Wild making the playoffs...they have 8 of the next ten on the road. As well as a tough schedule after that.

That is fine if he leaves but if Porter can't make the big show I do not think Vandy will either.

I agree as long as he stays away from the checking from behind penalties. If Trupp is out Kozek should definitely be on that 2nd line over Malone....That is a no brainer.

I hear ya on player's leaving early...but I don't think we have to worry about Darcy Zajac!! Although I guess he could go over to some B league in Europe and play. For the first time in a while I do not see any early departures.

exactly...he was a 1st round pick that chose to play his senior year. I was a fan of Kaip as well but Joe has given a lot to Sioux hockey. BTW if you want to bring Dean back drive 65 miles south and go to a Force game.
