You're not serious. Tell me you're not serious.......

Yeah, I knew about his injury. But you're right about the fact he could still end up there. He would be tremendous for us.......

Ott is a very good get. I didn't bother with him right away as I figured he'd end up at the U of M, but really glad we were able to get him. Heard he was in GF this weekend, so must have liked what he saw. I believe he had an offer from SDSU as well.

And UNI remains.......don't get it. USD should be in there instead of them.
-
If the line play improves like it has been, we should be able to get some running room even against a strong front 7. Studs needs to be on target to keep the D honest. Think we should be able to control them on defense too, but need to avoid the big plays. Should be a great game!

I was up for the Potato Bowl, and everything I got that had the new logo on it was from Scheels. Bookstore had a lot more stuff that just said University of North Dakota, or had Fighting Hawks in word but not logo. So I grabbed a couple logo only t-shirts (Adidas), a logo only long sleeve tee (said North Dakota on the sleeve) and a logo hat - all at Scheels. Then got some plain University of North Dakota stuff at the bookstore.

In all truth, I think that we would have a good shot at out-bidding Western Illinois, but likely wouldn't be able to outbid SDSU (if those are the two likely opponents we may be looking at). I would think that Faison would put in a fairly healthy bid, although with the budget issues who knows. A playoff win at home would be huge for the future.

I'm pretty sure he's being recruited as a WR as well.
-
Sounds like he should be making the trip.
-
Sounds like Sac had around 500 yards of offense. They were slinging it pretty good at the end. DBs need to be ready next weekend.
-
On to the next week. Watching the Bobcats @ Sac State game right now - assuming our line plays anywhere near how they did today we should be able to gain some yards and score some points. Their offense doesn't look too bad - run a little read option but they pass more than you would think out of it. Depending on the diagnosis on Santiago, hopefully they can hold him out next weekend and he is ready for SUU the following - although it's completely possible that he is out a little longer. I was really impressed with Gordon today, so Oliveira and Gordon will be a good 1-2 punch if Santiago's not ready to go. Really starting to get worried about the depth - likely will see Norberg get a few more carries next week as well. Really hope that Rooney is ready to go next week. The OL play was great today - Coe is a lot more comfortable out at RT and everything just seemed to gel this week. Onward and upward!

Completely forgot about Rashad myself

Williams was the Canadian (and one of our early verbals) who wasn't able to get through the NCAA clearinghouse, and ended up at the U of Manitoba prior to ever setting foot on campus. I think he would have been a good one - even though a different level I believe he started as a true freshmen last year for Manitoba at RT (I know he's starting this year).
-
Or Quintin Seguin.
-
And yes, I don't look at it as them saying we have a bad/cheap defense. I agree with SeattleBobcat in this instance.
-
Wasn't the coach that said that - it was an OL.
-
I believe he will be granted a medical redshirt and return next season.
-
I think Donnell Rodgers is going to be special at ILB. Definitely noticed him on Saturday.

Actually, the two teams were fairly evenly matched. UND gave up 10 points off turnovers themselves, but I don't hear UND fans using those as excuses. When the second pick 6 happened, total yards were almost dead even, so it's not like USD was completely punishing UND. The second quarter and the first drive of the 3rd quarter is when USD got about 260 of their 400 yards - other than that UND held them down pretty well. USDs defensive line got really good push on UND, and on offense they ran hard/broke some tackles and made some good plays. Streveler is a good running QB, but I couldn't help but think that there was a reason that UofM moved him to WR. Not that Studsrud threw the ball much better....... You've got a pretty good football team down there, and I wish you luck the rest of the way. I hope you do well in the Valley.

See you on Saturday SiouxDini!

I'm going to be up for the Potato Bowl, and I fully expect to purchase a few Hawks t-shirts for myself and the kids.

Sounds like a PWO for Mr. Swenson. According to Tom Miller.

One would have to think S&D would be the first to go. Both Men's and Women's.
