  1. Don't disagree and hope my information is wrong or the coaches change their mind.
  2. Have heard a few things about not looking for a scholarship QB. That's not to say they couldn't change their minds, but I've heard PWO type QB is likely it. EDIT: And, main reason is what Gundy is saying above. The Rugby Rifle was really developing during the year.
  3. Don't be surprised is there is no scholarship QB this year.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple commits after this weekend as well.
  5. Exactly - this is something that is very important to the coaching staff.
  6. I've heard some not so flattering things about Mr. Nielsen, but he definitely is a good coach. If he accepts USD will definitely improve.
  7. Based on what I had heard Holm was our number 1 CB on the board and Chinn was number 2. So we got who we wanted.
  8. SDSU has also offered Hartford it appears.
  9. my guess too. Looking for some confirmation.
  10. One current commit and three others (two with offers). Guessing we could see one more commitment after this weekend.

    2016 Season

I could see him being a safety with a role as a WR on the offense in certain situations. Agree that he doesn't seem to have the knack for a RB, but if they keep him there maybe that will come.

    2016 Season

Couple random things: I'd heard Arnell had discussed a medical redshirt - not sure the likelihood but seems like he'd have a good shot. Bowling Green could be a different team. Even though he's denying it (and the UCF job, where he was heavily rumored, went to Scott Frost), Dino Babers could very well end up elsewhere. It could depend on who they hire to see if they are still the same high octane offense. Looking forward to next year

    2016 Season

One thing to consider when thinking about Bowling Green next year and the potent offense - with all the openings around the country it's not too far fetched that Dino Babers may not be at BG next year and depending on the replacement their offense may not be as high octane.
  14. I don't believe we have offered anyone that committed to either of them.
  15. I also like Isaac Lepke, but I believe he may go the track route (offer from Iowa I think for track).
  16. Wouldn't be shocked with DeBoer or Glenn Caruso either.
  17. Hammer brings up a point about petitions and what not - I really hope that people just accept this and give up the hopes that we will be anything else. This is many years overdue.
  18. Not excited one bit about the name, but ready to embrace it and move forward. Maybe I'll procrastinate and do that tomorrow
  19. Absolutely. Also big fans of Montana State to eliminate the Griz. Too lazy to look it up - are most of the other games schedule much earlier than UNDs game? So we may have an idea what's going on before UND even takes the field?
  20. Truth to that as well. If it comes down to it, who knows how the committee would go.
  21. But they would only have 6 D1 wins, and it's hard to put them in with so many other teams out there with 7 D1 wins. Stranger things have happened, I know, but it just feels like a win or go home for them - I think a lot of things need to happen for them to be in consideration if they lose.
  22. For the first round it does matter I believe. SDSU and NDSU always met in the second round.
  23. Dont disagree, but name recognition and recent history may be a factor as crappy as that is.
  24. To me, the winner of SUU and NAU is in the playoffs and the other is not. Montana is in with a win. Portland State is in no matter what happens, but if they beat EWU then the Eagles are out for sure (bubble if they win). While I'd like to say UND is in with a win, we definitely want MSU and PSU to win this weekend. If both EWU and Montana win, UND would probably be fifth in line from the Big Sky for a playoff birth if we beat Poly.
  25. Quinn Alo committed to NDSU. Also UND has offered Jeremy Chinn, a CB out of Indiana.
