But they would only have 6 D1 wins, and it's hard to put them in with so many other teams out there with 7 D1 wins. Stranger things have happened, I know, but it just feels like a win or go home for them - I think a lot of things need to happen for them to be in consideration if they lose.

For the first round it does matter I believe. SDSU and NDSU always met in the second round.

To me, the winner of SUU and NAU is in the playoffs and the other is not. Montana is in with a win. Portland State is in no matter what happens, but if they beat EWU then the Eagles are out for sure (bubble if they win). While I'd like to say UND is in with a win, we definitely want MSU and PSU to win this weekend. If both EWU and Montana win, UND would probably be fifth in line from the Big Sky for a playoff birth if we beat Poly.

Quinn Alo committed to NDSU. Also UND has offered Jeremy Chinn, a CB out of Indiana.

Roughriders once again. Will support whatever it happens to be. Wish I could write in Fighting Norsemen or Roughnecks.

While currently I still would have Roughriders on top, had it not made it I would have voted for Fighting Hawks over Nodaks had those been the final two. However, if you change it to Fighting Nodaks versus Fighting Hawks I think I would have went the Fighting Nodaks route.

I've heard he is making good progress as a QB and the staff likes the progress. I believe with Studsrud out he has been travelling as emergency QB. Sounds like he has the potential be a good one.

Yep - that was on of the few things that was done exactly as it was laid out in the process. As with everyone else, I'm very disappointed that the rules changed for this. Nodaks is my least favorite of the three, but I would feel the same no matter what choice came in third. Also, regarding the logo, I think that someone (media or otherwise) needs to make it clear to those voting that the logo floating around cannot be used by UND (if that in fact is the case). Although they could probably come up with a logo similar to the one that is floating around, people should be informed so they don't make a choice on that alone.

Well, I and some of my friends are all hockey fans (not die hard by any means, enjoy football a lot more) and we all voted for RR. So I wouldn't call that the anti-hockey choice

That's funny and sad at the same time. I wanted to get the athletes thoughts, so I asked the men's and women's hockey teams.

That's surprising - I think it was only a couple days until I got my Qualtrics email. And I voted for Roughriders. I feel that is the only name that makes sense with what's left.
