I told you Bison fans don't remember those lean years. That confirms it.

Bison fans making fun of gimmicks to sell tickets at UND. They should be careful. Not very long ago when times were a little lean at NDSU radio stations were giving away tickets for their games by the fistful. The radio announcer wouldn't ask if you want 1 or 2. He would simply say how many do you want for free. You could get as many as you wanted. And course Stop N'Go was selling tickets for $5. You could basically buy a season ticket for 25 or 30 dollars. Bison fans have short memories.

You are right. 10,000 is a realistic goal for a lot of the games this year. 12,000 maybe for Homecoming. There is definitely some work to be done do to rebuild our fan base.

I wonder who Dan thinks has a tougher home schedule. UND or NDSU. I am sure he thinks NDSU,s schedule is tougher with those perennial powers Ferris and Delaware State coming to Fargo.

If all the players on the Bison football team that have a police record formed their own team it would be a very good team. I have to give them credit for that. They would have plenty of reserves too.

Bohl will have to kick this kid off. He will have no choice this time. In the past when a nice chunk of the team was in trouble Bohl didn't do anything. Of course because of the number of players involved it might of cost them some victories last year. Now when it only involves one player I am sure Bohl will finally do something . It will make Bohl look like he really cares more about team behavior than winning. Of course it is really not true.

SDSU was fortunate to beat UND in their men's basketball game this year. I was at the game. SDSU was fortunate. NDSU got swept by SDSU last year in men's basketball. UND at least split with SDSU. NDSU got beat by 23 last year to SDSU too. You must of forgot that. In 3 games against UND in D1 NDSU was beaten down by UND once too. I promise you that if UND would of had all their players this year the NDSU game might of been a lot different. We will see what happens next year. Your right. UND is better than NDSU in Volleyball. Neither women's basketball teams are good. UND is still better. I guess that means NDSU is really really bad. UND did win the last 2 games in baseball this year. And I agree with you that if you are a Bison fans there isn't much to excited about.

UND lost on a last second shot to SDSU in Brookings this year. SDSU was fortunate. We beat SDSU a year ago in men;s basketball. We lost to NDSU with some of our best talent not even on the floor this year. We did beat NDSU in men's basketball the year before. UND has beat NDSU 2 years in a row in Volleyball. UND beat NDSU in women's basketball this year. We have a 2 game winning streak going against NDSU in baseball. We play NDSU in men's and women's basketball in Grand Forks next year. We also play NDSU in Volleyball in Grand Forks next year . I guess we will see how those powerful teams from NDSU are next year. I think we play SDSU in a lot of the sports next year too . Hopefully our men's basketball team is healthy next year so we can make that 2 wins in 3 years against NDSU's mens basketball team. Isn't it UND that just came out of transition. Since NDSU is an established D1 program you would think they would do better against UND.

St. Cloud, Mankato and Duluth definitely sound a little more like the type of team that would fit into the Summit. They have plenty of vacancies in the Summit. That is for sure.

Douple said he has known for quite a while that Oakland was going to leave. Even though he knew this was coming he put his bitternesss for UND ahead of making smart decisions for the league he is the administrator for. He did not pursue UND. This whole fiasco shows just how incompetent Douple really is. He has a league situation that is not very appealing to any new member.

If Oakland does leave the Summit that would be a major blow to that conference. There will be a lot of sad and concerned people associated with the Summit league . There will be a lot of very sad people in Fargo also. Didn't the Oakland AD say that he hadn't talked to anyone about switching conferences?

Why would UND want to join the Summit and leave the Big Sky? It doesn't make sense to leave a very stable conference to go to one that is sinking fast. Who knows if the Summit is even going to be around in the near future. The viewpoint that UND might want to join the Summit is foolishness.

With the losses the Summit have taken like Oral Roberts and probably Oakland, and the slippery slope the Summit is standing on, the Bison fans who ridicule the Big Sky might want to be a little careful. Their statements might come back to bite them. The perception they have about how much better the Summit is over the Big Sky might need a little reevaluating.

We acually owe Douple a big thank you for not inviting UND earlier than they did. If he had been quicker UND would be in the Summit. Of course another big thank you for Douple and GT for making up all the excuses as to why they couldn't invite UND earlier. That really was an embarassing time for Douple and his cohorts. Didn't Douple get caught up in some lies too?

The only people that seriously say UND should look at joining the Summit are Bison fans. It is laughable to think that UND would want to join the Summit the ways things are going down in that conference. The only realisitic question that should be asked is whether NDSU is going to try one more time to join the Big Sky.

Did any Big Sky or Missouri Valley players get drafted?

We definitely have a lot of Bison fans lurking around. You do have to wonder why they are so concerned about UND.

Confirms the fact that some of these Bison posters are just kids. Sort of figured that.

NDSU fans always say UND isn't in the same building. They said that about volleyball. We have beat them 2 years in a row. We beat them in women's basketball last year. 2 years ago they laughed at UND on how weak UND was in men's basketball. We beat NDSU in basketball that year. Last year NDSU beat UND in men's basketball, but were missing half our team. Next year UND will beat NDSU in both men's and women's basketball and volleyball too. You can put that in the bank. If we played them in football who knows what would happen, they are afraid to play us. The football game in the future would be a LOT closer than most people think. Bring it on.

Are you serious or is your statement an April Fool's joke. Everything about the Summit is totally unstable and it has been for quite a whiile. Good luck in the future with the Summit. UND is fortunate and very happy to be in the Big Sky.

As you say the Summit's trash was willing to go to any conference than stay in the Summit.. That is not much of a statement about the Summit. Those were your words.

The Big Sky just keeps looking better all the time.

Looking at the schedule UND beat NDSU in Men's and Women's cross country this year. That is a start.
