I for one don't want to schedule the game. Actually what I am hoping for would be that UND turns things around and are in the playoffs in a couple of years. Even though Bison fans think it will never happen I am predicting that NDSU has a little bit of a down year and makes the playoffs but has to go on the road. Guess what. Who would of thought it. UND has an opportunity to host a game. NDSU is coming to Grand Forks. That would truly be a classic. In some ways it would be what GT deserves for all his actions the last few years. It would be truly fitting.

Gene Taylor is probably wishing he hadn't scheduled that home and away with Weber State. It is making him look very hypocritical. It is funny how a persons actions can come back and bite you in the backside. That game shoots a hole in almost everything he has said.

McFeeley says UND shouldn't be picky in trying to fill out their schedule. UND should just play one game in Fargo and leave it at that for the time being. NDSU is the one that probably shouldn't be so picky. NDSU has had a lot harder time trying to fill out their schedule than UND has had. Thus NDSU is going on the road to Weber State and home games with Ferris State and Incarnate Bible school. Remember McFeeley is into NDSU's kissing butt just like KVLY is.

Everything Gene Taylor says is complete BS. Nothing is more in your face than NDSU signing a home and away with Weber State. Correct me if I am wrong but I think they did. I wonder if the media will ask him about all the inconsistencies. I personally don't care if we ever play them again. Gene Taylor has lost all credibility..

After reading the article on the negotiations to try get a football game again, NDSU and Taylor are really starting to look like a bunch of childish goofballs. Kind of sad for the fans in North Dakota.

That makes 28 signed players and a grey shirt . I assume we can only sign one more player. I am sure we will never have a year again where we sign so many JC kids. This is a unique year and hopefully it won't happen again. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do . I hope it works out.

After a clean sweep (6 and 0) over the Bison in all the head to head matchups this year it sure seems to be quiet from the Bison front. They seem to have disappeared. Funny how that works. There usually all over this website . I'm thinking they don't like that kind of domination. I guess they are going to pretend it didn't happen and just try to get us next year. All is quiet till next year.

If my bookkeeping is accurate we presently have 6 JC players coming in and a transfer from the Gophers and Houston. That is 8 players. From what I heart they have 3 slots left to fill. We are indeed going to have a practically a whole new team next year . It will be exciting. I think.

So what is the story behind this signing? There has to be more to it. (know somebody or what) Looks to good to be true.

Bison fans are making light of that the fact that our baseball team lost both of our first 2 games in the series in Texas. They are basically implying how bad our baseball team is. It seems to me we just beat them last week. You wouldn't think they would be slamming the strength of our team when we just beat them. I guess we don't have a chance to beat them when we play them on Wednesday.

Is Lyons the grey shirt or someone previously on the roster? If it is the grey shirt, which coaching staff brought him in?

As I said, I wouldn't be surprised we would get them in baseball too. And of course we did. We just seem to beat them in everything. Even though their football team is better than ours, I am convinced we would beat them in football if they were wiling to play us. I guess we will probably never know. We did at least beat them in football the last time we played. My memories of UND/Bison football games are great . I didn't move here till the early 90's, but all I remember is UND dominating NDSU. I don't blame NDSU for not wanting to schedule UND. They are afraid of what might happen. I have this feeling NDSU is probably not going to want to schedule UND in any sport anymore. They will find an excuse why they can't make the games work into their schedule. . The continual losses have got to be tough to swallow.

Soccer is not a major sport. I consider a Volleyball a major sport though. Attendance is good and it is growing. We did beat you in all the major sports that you would play us in.

So you do have a selective memory. It is nice when you only have to remember certain things. I agree with you, your memory isn't so good.

I stopped by to check out Bisonville and they in general are very obsessed with UND as usual. They like to make fun about how bad our sports programs are and we shouldn't have a Junior Champions Kids Club. They must really have some bad memories down there. It seems to me we own them in all the major sports they are willing to play us in. We smoked them in Men's basketball and Volleyball. We beat them in Women's basketball and Soccer . If a person was unaware you might think the results were just opposite of what they really are. The conclusion is that they are apparently unaware at NDSU.

The Yaggie girl from Thief River Falls signed with NDSU today. Was UND interested in her?

You make a lot of good points. I think the 4 Dakota schools together in the Big Sky is the best overall option after weighing all the positives and negatives.

I always had the impression that for the most part the players liked Coach Jones. I might of been wrong though. I had heard Hooker might of been an important part in getting Shanks to come to UND. That gave me the impression that Hooker likes it here or he wouldn't of been encouraging friends to come here too. I seem to be getting mixed signals. What is the truth?

So Wade verballed and that is it. And anyone that verbals or signs a letter of intent is to be considered very iffy from this date on in the Spring and Summer. Is that right? I guess we will just have to wait and see who shows up in the Fall.

Wade signed a letter of intent, right. He also had an FBS offer already too. I suppose UND could hold him to his commitment. What makes you think he won't honor his commitment? I am guessing you think that by just the fact that he is taking the visit to USM. Hopefully he will still come here. Does anybody know the connection as to how we got on him anyway? I am sure UND wouldn't hold him to anything if he has an opportunity elsewhere.

Wisconsin's basketball team is in the Sweet 16. Our men's basketball team gave them a respectable game. Wisconsin's hockey team is a 1 seed. Und takes them down. Wisconsin won the Big Ten championship game to get us into the tourney . I love Wisconsin. Not really. Them have been good to us though.

We had 7 home games last year. The Thursday night game of course has to be in the evening. The 2 September games had start times at 6 . I imagine the theory is a lot of people are at the lakes . Then we had the next 3 games start at 2:30. The last game started at 1. My biggest and only complaint is I disagree on the start times for the 2 games in September. Even though some lakes people might prefer 6, all in all I think the 2:30 time is by far the best for everyone concerned. The night games just get to late for families. I also kind of like having the evening off after the game too.
