It is always nice to get recruits away from Oregon.

Maybe they didn't want to offer Momoh more than a half because of some of the success we are having in recruiting. It looks like things are going good.

I can just feel a positive energy coming back into our program. It won't happen overnight but there is a change happening. We might not make the playoffs next year, but in 2016 I think it is going to happen. I hope they prove me wrong and 2015 is the year.

So what are the chances that Nevermann still comes to UND?

It must of really bruised Bohl's ego to have one of his players transfer out and go to UND. What does he think the player is going to do in the one game we play with Wyoming? Sad situation.

I am going to assume that it isn' t a hard and fast policy or the player wouldn't have been transferring here to start with. I am sure he will be caught off guard by this. If Wyoming wants to let the kid transfer it will happen. Bohl is being very spiteful. What a jerk.

So it is just being assumed that he is going to make a visit. I do think there are some recruits that will take a free visit without having any serious interest in signing at the school. It feeds their ego to take the visit and have coaches pamper them. I would hope most athletes would at least have a certain level of interest or they wouldn't come.

If we did have just 1 timeout left, I would of still called a timeout but that is just my opinion. I t just seemed like at that point we needed to know what we were going to do. I do think if Shanks can do what I think he is going to be able to do, the future is very bright. It would help if we could get Nash to work a little harder and be more of a factor in the game. He needs to at least make some of those bunnies he is missing. I haven't given up on this year. My mistake apparently, I thought I looked at the scoreboard and saw we had 2 timeouts left.

I will disagree with a previous post. Granted anything can happen but with 2.5 seconds left after a timeout, it is very possible to get better shot than a half court fling. You can call a timeout and then make a pass towards half court and immediately call another timeout. After that 2nd timeout it is very possible to get a much better shot. It happens all the time in basketball. No guarantees what is going to be the result, but clock management last night was terrible. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do think we had 2 timeouts left.

If the Bison are on to Smith there will probably be other schools too. It is good that we are going after good players though. Just have to keep forging ahead.

I think it would be safe to say that Smith would be ready to play right away . I am not going to let myself get excited until it really happened. He would be a huge get. The possibility of signing him is fun to talk about though.

Without a doubt. Cut the trees back IMMEDIATELY. Even if the driver was distracted and didn't see the stop sign and tracks at that moment a different outcome could of happened. If there had been better vision leading up the the crash, the driver or somebody on the bus might of seen the train coming soon enough to avoid the accident. Very tragic.

I think it seems quite obvious that the staff doesn't intend on keeping Shields in the program . Otherwise it makes absolutely no sense to have pulled his redshirt.

We always seem to have periods of the game where we are sleep walking.

We have too many people waiting for the ball to come to them on rebounds. You have to go get it.

It seems like we always start halves and end halves poorly. That is a bad stat. We really are weak at the post to top it off.

Last night was a definite head scratcher. That was as poor of a performance as I have ever seen for a UND men's team. I still think this team has a lot of promise. I hope last night was just one of those nights. I hope!!!! I have a feeling Bison fans were saying the same thing last year when UND squashed NDSU. All I know is, I don't ever want us to play that badly again. Jones had better start getting better performances from his team than that.

Bison followers are always making fun about how many points Big Sky teams give up. NDSU looks like they belong in the Big Sky more and more with every game they play. One thing for sure, there defense isn't as good as last year. I still can't see anyone beating them though.

Did the win over the Bison drop us some in the rankings?

The Bison fan also commented how sad it is with how bad the 2 programs are now. I wasn't sad at all going to the NCAA big dance last year and playing Texas A and M. Nobody was crying in Grand Forks. It might of been sad in Fargo though.

I see the NDSU had 18,100 in attendance for their game in Fargo. Seems like they routinely have around 19,00 for their games, it is surprising they didn't have a sellout for their playoff game. I know they can put about 19,000 in the dome. I suppose that it is the same thing that has happened in Grand Forks over the years when every ticket has to be purchased for playoffs and free tickets from your boss at work aren't there, not as many tickets are sold. Nonetheless it is still a little surprising.
